| Last time I went there we got held up in traffic, parked in Zampa Rd, missed most of the first half, lost 3 0 then got let through the fence by the old bill into the Millwall side of the chain link fence so we could slink past them all taking the piss to get back to the car. At least it got us out of the tunnel to the train staion where you get gobbed on. One of the only times I'm glad we didn't win. Went to the Old Den years back, proper tribal. |

Last train out of Paddington is 2100. Its unlikely anyone travelling to the game is going to go via Train |

I can only speak for myself but I wouldn't particularly fancy hanging around for 3 hours in London for a train that will probably get into Plymouth around 4 in the morning. No one between the agres of 21 and 65 should be seen dead on a National Express bus either! |

Nothing wrong with Megabus Hugh, much much better and way more comfortable than National Express which i only use as a last resort when peak fares are being charged out of London early on weekday mornings on the train. I use the 2345 train quite a bit and it gets into Plymouth about 0520 depending on its route and leaves at 0540 or a bit later, again depending which route it takes. It's not ideal if you don't have a berth but it's not too bad. Personally i find it easier to get my head down and sleep on Megabus than i do in the seated coach on the overnight train. |

| Also Hugh, because of the Newbury diverts on the train at the moment and the short notice timetable changes, GWR's cheapest single to London (£13) is non existent at the moment and even the more cheaper fares are almost non existent at the moment and what advance fares they do release are not much cheaper than walk up fares. |

| Another thing to go against the 2345 Sleeper back to the south west , Is GWR have refurbished them with seats worse then on the new IET Sets,
But from what I've seen of the lounge car with the buffet in, available to all passengers the seats look alright. |

| ARGYLE will take on Millwall at the Den in our Carabao Cup second round tie on Wednesday, August 29.
Tickets, which will cost £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, will go on sale in due course. We will notify supporters when they are available. The game will kick off at 7.45pm.
In other cup news, we have drawn Portsmouth in a qualifying match for this season's Premier League Cup, a competition for under-23 teams.
Our clash with Pompey at Home Park is on Tuesday, September 4, kicking off at 7pm. Should we win, we will progress to a mini-league stage, with four other teams. |

I actually prefer the new 2x2 airline type seating on the refurbished sleeper coaches, much easier to get comfortable at than the old 2x1 seating that had a table at ever seat prohibiting you from stretching out. Yes the new seats aren't as generous as the old seats but there nothing like the new IET seats. Lot's of people have complained about those too but from personal experience I found them absolutely fine. The 1st class on the new trains though is very poor compared with the HST's first class so I don't think I'll be weekend upgrading to it at all and will probably only use it when the 1st class fare quoted is of little difference or less that the standard class fare quoted. |

| As TGWU has just said, it's confirmed for the Wednesday. Megabus is currently £6 up and £4-33 Back. |

| When I lived in Catford I couldn't work out whether it was Millwall or Charlton who was the 'local team'. |

I always thought of it as Crystal Palace territory. Charlton tends to draw more of its support from East of the ground. |
