Argyle Academy’s Freddie Issaka has been called up for the Wales under-17 training camp.
The 16 year old is playing up an age group having represented both Wales and England at under-16 level already this season.
The training camp will last five days and will be held at the Vale Resort in Hensol.
It will be the final preparations ahead of the UEFA Euro under-17 Elite Round scheduled for March in Slovenia.
The young Welsh side are drawn with hosts Slovenia, Turkey and Serbia and will be hoping to make it to their first European Championships.
15 spaces are up for grabs ahead of the tournament which will be held in Israel in May and June.
Freddie will join up with his teammates on Sunday, 13 February and be with the training camp until Thursday, 17 February.
On Freddie’s call up, Academy Manager Phil Stokes said, “We are delighted that Freddie’s excellent progress has been recognised and he's called up to another international training camp.
"This is a great opportunity for Freddie’s development to train with Wales under-17s next week.”
Good luck Freddie.
