| Currently overlooking Lords drinking Stella Artois cidre. Which I apologise for.
But (in part for Peggy) it's currently on offer at Tesco at £1.59 per bottle, down from £2.09. |

| Tried Cidre, poncy French tw@'s, once and didn't really like it, a bit like Magners I find they just market their product well, but Sainsburys used to do a Taste The Difference French Cider which was expensive, about £2.99 a bottle a couple of years ago, but I got some for about £1 a bottle as a mate works there in the Beers Wines and Spirits section and they must have been discontinuing or changing the design or something.
It was like a sparkling wine, which I don't usually enjoy, with a lovely taste.
My latest homebrew is being made shortly, apple and elderflower, and I now have my hydrometer to test the strength of it, as the supplier of the brewing caps claims if left for 10 days that it should reach around 22%. |

| When the four year old and I are leaving the house to go on an adventure (or to school) we've got a choice of two things to say as we go out of the door. For option one, I say 'Let's go!' and she replies 'Disco!' For option two, we look at each other and say, in unison, 'Go Go Gadget Skates!'
I'm also working on getting her to reply to 'I'm back' with 'and I'm proud'.
Anyway. I think the time since I bought alcohol in a supermarket is even longer than the time since I ate chips. However, I'm comforted to know that if any of the food chains ever have a good offer on bananas, Jon B's bound to let me know. |

Since your sound advice regarding my leaky wall, I'm pleased that I may be able to return the favour on your 'biting' issue. Is the 'biting' in the area of your genitalia? A 'friend' of mine had a similar problem in his yoof, following a rather cumbersome interaction with what would these days be regarded as a M.I.L.F. Proper dirty bird she was too, so he said... Anyway, a week or so after this, he started itching 'down below', only to find that some little critters had taken up residence in his nether regions. First off he tried the 'Lemon Popsicle' method (ask your dad Cobi) of drowning the feckers by spending about 3 hrs in a pool. No luck - they were obviously amphibious. He then had to go to the chemist and ask for some, ahem, headlice cream to evict the stubborn little feckers. It's funny. 'Cos ever since, he's had a phobia of wild unkempt undergrowth, and has been quite particular about his partners keeping a neatly trimmed bush, to reduce the risk of unwanted tenants.... |

| The Eden Project. About as mundane as it gets for me. Until now:

Now I will probably go just to see it from this view. |

| The little blighters in the nether region are know as "crabs" so the amphibious thing is in the title Czarcasm. No point in beating about the bush lets call them what they are. (pun intended).
As this is the mundane thread here is a mundane bit of info for those who might not know this already. The RN treatment of crabs was a light blue ointment. This was dabbed on the nether regions and left a light blue stain. It just so happens that the colour was an exact match for the uniform of our flying friends in the RAF. Hence the naval term for RAF personnel being "Crab fats". I suspect the treatment has changed in more recent times so the term might even be lost on the newer recruits.
If it's slugs by the way you could always try a couple of pellets just under the rim..... Works on my roses. |

Now I will probably go just to see it from this view. That is amazing (and by definition shouldn't bloody be on here, Jock!!!) About 30 years ago I did 3 parachute jumps. I gave it up. It was sooooo exciting I couldn't sleep. The adrenaline rush just went on and on. This looks similar. Could I handle it now at my advanced age? I vote we have an ATD outing to this place. |
