The 31-year-old started the season strongly and impressed Paul Cook with his conditioning and attitude in preseason.

But a hamstring strain sustained in the League Cup clash with Newport saw him fall down the pecking order at Portman Road with Macauley Bonne arriving on-loan from QPR .

The former Exeter City striker has twice been Ipswich’s leading marksman despite injury woes and set-backs and may provide the solution to Plymouth run for promotion with the extra fire power.

if he comes here or indeed another would it mean Agard wont be offered a extentison to his contract i wonder?

Lowe certainly seems to be reluctant to use Agard to any degree. Not sure why in all truth, scored a couple of goals albeit in the in the papa whatever it is trophy and played quite well when he was given a shot against Burton but Lowe is closer to the guy on a day to basis and must have his reasons. The Ipswich bloke certainly has a prolific recent record in the same way as Agard did at MKD but also has had similar problems with injuries. Out of the frying pan into the fire? Who knows, may just be someone putting two and two together and making five.

We all thought Reeves was the bees knees but obviously did fit with Lowe , Agard maybe the same , or maybe he wants to leave for more first team football.

We just have to trust Lowe's judgement

Need to be looking at players who can make an impact in the Championship, not Exeter City rejects.

Update

The reason behind Town’s decision to place Norwood on the transfer list has been revealed and it is not down to footballing reasons.

Back in July, Norwood was found guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol, but since then has had his driving ban suspended subject to an appeal which will take place later this month.

It is not only this situation which has found Norwood in hot water at Ipswich, but it is also his activity on social media which has left the club’s new hierarchy unimpressed. This has ultimately led to the board making the decision to transfer list Norwood and make him train with Ipswich’s U23 squad until he finds a new club.

Given our history in that regard.
