Sheffield Wednesday replay, winners will face Notts C or Rochdale

The Greens’ Emirates FA Cup replay against Sheffield Wednesday at Home Park will take place on Tuesday, 16 November – with a 7.45pm kick-off.

Argyle ground out a resilient draw at Hillsborough against the three-time FA Cup champions on Saturday, setting up a return fixture at the Theatre of Greens.

With the fixture just over a week away, tickets will go straight to General Sale from Tuesday, 9 November at 10am. Season-ticket holders’ regular seats will be reserved for them to purchase until 9am on Friday, 12 November – at which point remaining seats will be released for general purchase.

Ticket pricing is consistent with the away tie at Hillsborough, with adult tickets costing £10 stadium-wide, and the full pricing list available below.

Crap draw as expected. If we get past Sheff Wed perhaps Notts County v Argo would have a slim chance of being a TV match being non-league v league. Looked on both Rochdale and Notts County forums and unsurprisingly both sets of fans' preference is for Sheff Wed - and definitely not because they think they have more chance of going through either.

another tv ratings winner for us if we win the replay then

Whats the liklihood if we win against sheff wed and this game we draw a top 4 prem club at home in the 3rd round and no tv company picks that to broadcast.

Would rather have seen the MK Dons game on Sky the following Tuesday. Assuming of course that we do go through.

Two TV dates in two days

Chris Sarginson will be the referee for Plymouth Argyle's FA Cup first round replay against Sheffield Wednesday next Tuesday.

His last visit to Home Park was in August for the League One game against Cambridge United and it turned out to be an incident-packed one.

Argyle defender James Wilson was suspended for three matches after a misconduct charge for 'an unseen incident'

The Pilgrims are currently scheduled to travel to Milton Keynes Dons on Tuesday, 7 December, for a 7.45pm kick-off live on Sky Sports.

In the event that Argyle make it to the second round of the Emirates FA Cup, this fixture will be played one day later, on Wednesday, 8 December, 7.45pm kick-off.
