| Wasn't it Barnsley that was called off just before the seventy minutes needed to call a result with us losing 2 4? We won the rematch fookin hilarious I remember everybody singing call it off then a mahoosive cheer when it happened. |

| Another great win. Well done Argyle!
The worse weather I remember was the FA cup away to Bristol Rovers when they were based in Bath?? Torrential rain and us in a temporary set of seats. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! I thought Mackie debut was against Cardiff, sure he scored two, or am I thinking of Mpenza the one and only time he actually showed up? Where's Skinny when you need him? |

| Possibly the most comical goal I've ever seen at Home Park.
(Apparently a game between Stockport and Chorley got abandoned in the 89th minute a few seasons back with Stockport one nil up). |

| The 3rd goal will be shown for years to come in comedy goal compilations. It's up there with all the classics.

Everyone running in treacle and i thought he'd put it over when he hit it. Good job that weather didn't come 25 minutes earlier, almost certainly would have been abandoned. Understandably in those conditions, not Argyle's most fluent display but a very good one nonetheless against a Bolton team who couldn't defend all that well but were very lively when moving forward. It really is a huge bonus to get these goals from other areas other than the strikers, just what the doctor ordered. Defence was pretty solid on the whole although Bolton did get behind them on quite a few occasions-some good last ditch defending and an assured performance from Cooper saw it through. Who would have thought it at the start of the season, no chickens being counted but very encouraging. Well done to the squad and management. |

| Absolutely drenched getting to the ground wind making me cold and drenched on the way home with a flooded phone and sodden wallet toboot but totally worth it we played very well consodering the conditions Bolton only truly looked dangerous in the second half but were about as dangerous as a kitten and this is a team the media stated would walk this league lol. the third goal was product of the conditions affecting the pitch which i was impressed held up as long as it did. Cooper did very well tonight i thought looked cool and calm and dealt with Bolton's threats with ease while himself getting drownded by the rain. very pleased to see us win this comfortably and if we are in an unexpected promotion hunt then its these teams we need to pick up the wins against to secure it. Very long way to go mind but so far so good. Onwards to morecambe and me to get the electric blanket on lol. |
