if that were the case teams would be treating the competition with more respect only they dont cause theres little money involved in this competition only from the U23 clubs that's not going anywhere but the efl coffers.

FA Cup run may pay for any potential Broom deal if there is a deal to be had.

it does need ironing out i agree and made so league one and two clubs want to do well in it mainly the money involved as lets face it winning the FA Cup or League cup isnt going to happen for these clubs so this should be the next best thing for them.
