| I hope Hallett has only given Lowe about 10 games before he sacks him to give the new manager time to save us from relegation. Absolutely should have been sacked last season. No wonder we're all bookies favourites for the drop.
LOWE OUT NOW!!! |

| a whole new unit of defenders but the same problems remain. We simply dont know how to defend playing this system. I trust over time this improves as the new blood take time to get use to how things are done here. |

| Our most overhyped player this last 50 years finishes the first game of the new campaign in identical fashion to the entire last two seasons efforts
Utterly useless with no end product............as always
Way to Go Lowe way to go |

| We were wondering where the goals were coming from? Half of them from an ex player who was widely denounced as being utter shite. Would have put a score on him if I realised he was playing. |

| only consolation is the fans are in attendance saturday so if the team doesnt turn up unlike last season they are going to hear about it and Ryan will learn that Argyle fans have limits and want improvements this season from last. |

Whatever happens today, I think we'll have a new Manager before the end of the year.
PS. No pre opening game pronouncements from the owner? Is the novelty wearing off? He's been without any cell service for the last week - river rafting at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Disappointing in front of goal today, but early days yet. |

And that should be the alarm call to those fans who laid the blame fully at the defenders of last season for how bad we where. We brought in a whole new unit including experience defenders and there is virtually no difference cause nothing was learnt from last season and the defence gets ignored in our match preparations and not getting instructions on how to deal with certain scenarios. We still having a young keeper who maybe improving his general keeping he's still not good at marshalling his defence to which that needs to improve, he has had a full season as number one he should be improving on that front at least its not like he has rookies in front of him anymore. Until we get someone in who can work with the defence and help Ryan prepare the side with defensive tactics i cant see them getting much better as a unit. I await the highlights to watch but going by what i heard we could have lost by alot more than 2 today. |

Here Rotherham manager views
Warne on Plymouth Argyle…
“They are really well coached. They have an attacking system and create plenty of chances. We’ve watched a few of their pre-season games and they are very comfortable on the ball, so I’m expecting them to have plenty of possession.
“Like always, we’ve just got to turn up and be at our very best and If we are I’m confident we can give anyone a game.
“We want to give ourselves a right chance to win, it would be great to start off at home with a good performance which hopefully brings three points.
“It will be a tough game, they’ll be right up for it as well, let’s hope we come out on top.”
What does anyone expect the opposition manager to say?
"Well they got a few heavy beatings last season and some of their signings leave a bit to be desired IMO. If they keep giving the ball away at the back like they used to, we could nick a couple of soft goals and with their lightweight attack, I'd be disappointed if they score against us" The last paragraph |
