| Very confident of a great start. Strong defence and great attacking play.

| Happily take a 1-0 win, even if we end up sitting on it for 60 plus mins. |

| I'd happily take a one all tbh. Ex CCC team away and they will be up for it, good away point will look like a good start, 3 0 dicking puts loads of pressure on us. I think all the fans are nervy lets hope the underdogs win. |

| I feel a bit more confident than this time last year. I like what I see so far. However, let's see how Lowe applies his 'improved' team at the actual coal face. I'll go for a 0-1 win today. As ears say's, we deffo do not want an emphatic win (although obvs I'd take it) - it sets a false sense of expectation among certain fans and when the inevitable slide down the table comes there will be the guaranteed shouts for Lowes head, and Freathy going into a jizzathon - etc etc. You know, the usual early season bollox from the dimlow cuntasaurus's amongst us. Ah feck it. 0-8 to Argo! As an aside, I'd just like to say how much I enjoyed watching the Bournemouth game on TV last night with a full house - AND with away fans. It certainly relit my footy spark. I know you don't watch football for the crowd, but my interest in the game almost disappeared completely when games were on TV with no fecker there! All of a sudden, I feel excited about Saturdays once again! UTBA |

Here Rotherham manager views
Warne on Plymouth Argyle…
“They are really well coached. They have an attacking system and create plenty of chances. We’ve watched a few of their pre-season games and they are very comfortable on the ball, so I’m expecting them to have plenty of possession.
“Like always, we’ve just got to turn up and be at our very best and If we are I’m confident we can give anyone a game.
“We want to give ourselves a right chance to win, it would be great to start off at home with a good performance which hopefully brings three points.
“It will be a tough game, they’ll be right up for it as well, let’s hope we come out on top.” What does anyone expect the opposition manager to say? "Well they got a few heavy beatings last season and some of their signings leave a bit to be desired IMO. If they keep giving the ball away at the back like they used to, we could nick a couple of soft goals and with their lightweight attack, I'd be disappointed if they score against us" |

| I'm predicting a defeat by 1 or 2 goals, with RL's post match sound bites including "early doors" "it's a long season" "just a little bit of luck" "the boys done well until..." and the usual "we're a work in progress"
Whatever happens today, I think we'll have a new Manager before the end of the year.
PS. No pre opening game pronouncements from the owner? Is the novelty wearing off? |

UTBA I have to say I used to enjoy watching the football without the fake fan noise. Nothing beats crowds at a footy match but I loved the embarrassment and hurried apologies of the commentators when someone starts effing and jeffing. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! Any pre booked tickets for collection will be here as well. Would have probably gone today if I'd known they'd convert it to POTD. I prefer rocking up and POTD then having to book in advance, so I've got the option of deciding on the day whether I go. Baffles me why Rotherham wanted to make it all ticket for away fans only - did they really think we'd sell 2000 away tickets in the midst of a pandemic for an away match 300 miles from our home ground, in a glamourous location like Rotherham? Basics of business is to make it as easy as possible for people to buy your product!!! |

| Just a matter of which minute Cooper makes his first mistake
Having said that defence is much stronger this season and I'll go 1-1 |
