| Hopefully Mayor and Grant refuse the terms offered especially Mayor. Most overrated player in 50 years. Some claim Steve Crawford. I would say Crawford at least scored some goals 6 apparently in 26 games. How many has Mayor scored in 2 full seasons |

How many has Mayor scored in 2 full seasons clearly never watched any games not that it was in anydoubt but Grant was one of our best players last season and not a over the hill 37 year old you wanted kept on. |

Most overrated player in 50 years. Some claim Steve Crawford. I would say Crawford at least scored some goals 6 apparently in 26 games. How many has Mayor scored in 2 full seasons I suppose one factor to point out if using that comparison is that one was a striker and the other a midfielder but it isn't an unfair comment to say that Mayor's goal tally is disappointing-IIRC the man has said it himself, with the proviso that one of the reasons was that he had been asked to play a deeper role than previously in order to "get the team up the pitch".There has been a long line of Argyle disappointments [at least disappointing in the eyes of some]-Barrie Jones,Alan Peacock,Brian Hall,Doug Collins,Dave Regis,Dave Smith,Crawford,Mayor-even Tommy himself was regarded as a flop during the early stages of his HP career. Don't know why, maybe it's because Argyle tend to sign so few players who have excelled at higher levels or have established high reputations at other clubs and the spotlight is always on those types of player. |

Pitch coming on nicely for the new team. All pitches are being resurface that includes the two training pitches. Contractors were working late into the evening on Wednesday on the top of the two pitches. The bottom one is nice and green already. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Was up there this morning for 2nd vaccination (and am struggling 3rd lot paracetamol just gone in) The pitch was all earth from what I could see. Need some heavy sun now after all the rain we've had |
