I'll be glad when this season is over, what a joke.

playing 4 4 2 with a totally makeshift defence that are clueless and inexperienced. playing with 4 in the midfield and no wingers who can cross a ball just 4 central midfielders and upfront are completely straved..
Im off out ill be amazed if we even get a goal today, Thank god this season has finished and we arent going down. Tomorrow's retain list will be interesting to see.

Forgot it was 12:00 KO. Just logged into to see Argo losing again LOL.
Best end to this thoroughly miserable season would be Lowe sacked at 14:00

FT 1-0 to the Gills. Thank feck it's all over, time to move on with lessons learnt (hopefully) Cooper and young Tomblinson played well. So we finished 18th, 6 pts above the drop zone.

Sums you up having a laugh cos we’ve lost.
If you bothered to have a look at what was a makeshift defence and team, it wasn’t a bad performance, watching those youngsters should give the saner supporter hope for the future, not that you could give a toss about that.

Pity we don't do a retained list for ATD.
Cooper played well today.

Argyle to lose by two or three goals. One will come when the Gills exploit Argyle's LWB being caught out of position, another will be when a defender gives the ball away on the edge of the Penalty area. Argyle will have lots of corners, none of which will lead to an attempt on goal, but they might notch up 8-10 shots but only two will be on target.
Afterwards Lowe will say he's proud of the boys and the effort they put in, but we were unlucky for all the goals we let in-but we did play the better football and he knows what to do different next season.
Afterwards, Earwegoagain ,Freathy and myself will slag off the Manager, others will say the manager just needs a bit more time, one more transfer window or that it doesn't matter as Brent has gone and Hallett is wonderful. Angry will demand a new defence and a defensive coach and Rickler will insult various posters, but won't comment on the game at all.
In other words, the only change will be that it's a Sunday game.
Got it wrong-took Lowe's attack minded brand of football 13 shots to get 2 on target!
I understand why Lowe rates Cooper so highly, he can face the full force of Argyle's attacking might in training and not let a single shot get past him. TBF, he only has to make a couple of saves in a two hour session.

Probably Law’s best game as well, that Jordan Graham ran us ragged at HP and thought he stood up to him quite well.

Disappointing end and very much an up and down season, the downside of Lowe's attacking playing from the back style is that when it doesn't work, mainly by being sussed by more experienced managers we get stuffed. Some big decisions to make for Lowe, but then he is paid to make them. One is the future of Mayor, Martin Gritton on the com made the point several times that given Mayor is probably the biggest wage earner in the squad , if he went that would free up the budget and also if Lowe is to make a major revamp of the squad with different formations then the decision is do you base it around the recognised playmaker or go in a different direction? I'm thinking if the squad is to develop differently from this season then not keeping Mayor is a good way forward.

Completely unacceptable performances and results this season. Lowe is to blame - it's his team and tactics. Last win was 2 April against a shite AFCW side followed by 6 defeats including a 0-6 walloping at home. Not good enough. Lessons will not be learnt or they would have been learnt already. Time for a change. Get rid of Lowe now Hallett to give us a chance next season.

Let's see who turns down a new contract. If regulars like Major Grant and Aimson move on, it could be an indication of what they think of the Club and management. Josh Grant made it clear last summer that he didn't want to be part of Lowe's plans. Joined The Gas who despite conceding 10 fewer goals than Argyle, still got relegated-but perhaps their "revolving door" Manager policy had something to do with that.

i listened to the second half on ifollow via my phone didn't sound too exciting. perked up a bit when mr matey mcnichol read out his eulogy to mccormick doing what every young fan does concerning Luke, gloss over mccormick's prison sentence rather than ignore it or explain why he went to prison and not give the impression it was one of those everyday things.
Season is over objective completed i guess but christ almighty Ryan and neil dewsnip have a big summer coming up . we need a strong squad and not a budget mainly wasted on a strong 11 and whatever is left to strengthen the bench with first year second year pros.
Nice break coming up i do hope this pre season fixtures have a mixture of oppositions in terms of caliber to test our squad ready for another tough season coming up.

Pretty shocking season. Suppose the game plan was to stay in L1 and we achieved that but nothing else to be excited about I think Ennis and Hardie can do the bizzo together with Camara plus complete new midfield in addition.
Complete new defence, stuck with Cooper despite mistake after mistake all season
Jepchott I'd let him go for a decent fee with percentage sell on.

No surprise that Lowe used the usual script Bit worried that he reckons the players always gave 100%-does that include the 0-6 stuffing by Charlton? And why he is suddenly going on about the need to sign "quality"? Has he always tried to sign shyte before?

Now we have to survive the close season hoping that some ambitious Club like Barrow don't entice him away LOL
I think he needs to be careful what he wishes for as well. Wanting the fans back may well backfire if the team replicate some of this season's home performances. Losing 0-6 is bad enough, doing so while several thousand fans call for his head could severely affect his employment status.
