If Hallet goes down the cheap route and keeps the clowns on the football staff who are shit at football management and talent spotting, but brilliant at self promotion then he's no better than the Brentmare.

Today's sad stats:

1 Corner

1 shot on target

10 shots not on target

Do they train, do they practice shooting?

The stats, don't lie in two games nine conceded, one scored, which indicates as MArtin Gritton said, "a massive rebuild is needed, Ryan has some big decisions to make".

Lucky for Lowe he's at Argo where no matter how shite he is his job remains safe as houses. Anywhere else he would have gone long ago. What are you playing at Hallett?

I think there is a vast difference between Hallet and brent. Hallet has spent more and done more good for the club in the short time he’s been in charge than brent did in all his years as owner.

Yes a bit harsh on Si perhaps, though Jimmy did make Nipples Nool the official club Jester and he was Brilliant! Laughing  Its where we go from here is the problem would Si trust Lowe with the serious money the squad needs to improve it ? i think its more loans and praying for a miracle rather than any sort of long term planning.

I have to say if I had a criticism of Hallet, then not having Nigel the nipples in a position of authority at the club would be it. clown

Lowe is very lucky fans arent back till next season as there is no way he would be getting his name sung around home park after some of the shite this season we have witnessed in amongst a purple patch that kept us up.

it naive to think we will win or even draw against Sunderland on saturday for but gillingham we need to finish on a high.

Lowe has bought over a dozen players to the Club since the end of last season, so:

a)Hallett has really backed Lowe, in terms of transfer, loan, signing on and agents fees.

b) Hallett must be wondering if a) was a wise move.

Jeez Wept...  A)  How many times do you need to be told that figure was capped at 2.6 million by the EFL last season (give or take a couple of small exceptions).  How that figure was spent, was up to Lowe.

Do you have a problem remembering things?  We've been over this several times and yet you seem to ignore reality?

and..  B)  There was no other move Hallett could make, except sack Lowe.   ...and that was never ever going to happen.  Except in 'Freathyworld'.

Lowe's going nowhere and quite frankly I give him another season, we’re safe now and the season can’t finish soon enough for me but the close season will be very interesting in fact I’m looking forward to it

[quote="akagreengull"]Agree with  those sentiments Graiser gor this season, but I still have faith Lowe and Shumacher will do much better next season. If they don't then obviously time for a change.

they get a clean slate in the summer with the rebuild in my eyes however if we are still playing crap and cant defend for shit and losing games we should be winning then the axe should come swiftly by the end of october.

Total spend on player salaries was capped, I've not mentioned salaries

Transfer fees, loan fees and agent's fees were never capped. That's all optional spending-Hallett could have said "Don't buy anyone, don't pay any loan fees, re sign players to reduce agent's fees. He didn't

Yes they were

“League One and Two Clubs are also going to continue discussions towards the introduction of additional measures aimed at addressing Club financial sustainability.

When calculating total salary spending, the ‘cap’ includes:

Basic Wages;

Taxes;

Bonuses;

Image rights;

Agents’ fees and;

Other fees and expenses paid directly or indirectly to all registered players.

Payments directly linked to a Club’s progression in cup competitions or promotion are excluded from the Cap, while any income generated from players going out on loan is deducted from the Club’s Salary Cap calculation.”

Lol..  You can almost bet the house on Grovey being wrong  these days.

and next week...  He'll be back still saying the same thing and claiming it's true.

A refusal to accept reality.

Why would Hallett sack the manager? Lowe has done the job he was paid to do and kept us in League 1 by a comfortable margin. No-one really expected us to be challenging at the top of the league did they?
