Alastair Campbell is correct, it's completely about Bozo deflecting attention away from his and his useless government's catastrophic decision not to stop flights from India, a decision which will hospitalise and kill thousands. Why would France or any sensible country let anyone in from Bozo's Britain anyway. When cases, hospitalisations and deaths hit levels yet unseen due to Bozo's unbelievable act of reckless stupidity opening up on Monday Brits won't be allowed in anywhere. We'll be stuck on Bozo's Covid Island. Tt really is time this idiot fell.

The EU were suggesting afew days ago, obvs aided & abetted by the BBC, that the AZ vaccine didn’t give as much protection against the French / SA variant. Total bollocks of course. Just more UK bashing.

If true and there is no reason to not believe it then AZ should tell the eu nazis to feck off if they ask for more jabs.

He was responding to a question from a reporter about the alleged role of "platforms like Facebook" in spreading falsehoods about vaccines and the pandemic.
The White House has been increasing pressure on social media companies to tackle disinformation.
Facebook says it is taking "aggressive action" to protect public health.

Now I am not suggesting that Harve and the gang are anti vaxxers but their heavily politicised anti Brexit led posts do just as much damage over here, inflating figures or only quoting half the figures to make a point Facebook has a lot to answer for.

No it's you that is confused. You can get immunity from Covid in only two ways that I am aware of' natural immunity from actually fighting off Covid and thereby producing anti bodies or having the vaccine which will create the same antibodies and hence immunity. Another example of politicised data is the daily infection tally. Harve and the gang gleefully tell us about the UK reaching 50k infections a day (which Whitty predicted weeks ago) yet we have no control over the restrictions in Scotland, Wales and NI so why don't we publish English infections? Boris gets the blame for wee widow cranky and all the jocks that caught it ignoring advice not to travel to London for the Euros.

Infection numbers have long since become completely obsolete thanks to the efficacy of the vaccines.
Yet for some reason everyone keeps publicising them & indeed looking for more cases through exhaustive testing.
Seek & you shall find as they say.
No other country tests anywhere near the numbers the UK do, hence the distorted case numbers
The only figures that matter now are hospitalisations & deaths, unless you’re an EU loving Anglophobe, in which case you can use meaningless case numbers to bash the government or indeed just make up your own figures & lies.

BBC reporting Sajid Javid has tested positive for Covid after becoming unwell despite being double jabbed with AZ. He's a rabid restriction ender like his idiotic deranged boss Bozo. Maybe this will focus his mind a bit that you don't end all restrictions when cases of a highly contagious and dangerous variant are increasing by 50% every 2 weeks.

Andrew Marr said he caught Covid at G7, double jabbed felt pretty crap for a few days. He didn't die or end up in hospital which is why we are trying to get everybody immunised. Everywhere that I read says nearly all the cases in hospital are unvaccinated people same as Biden said about the states.

So when would you lift restrictions then Freathy ?
This virus isn’t going away however long we all hide under the table & with the vast majority of people already vaccinated surely high summer is the ideal time to let it burn itself out amongst younger people who a) are the most likely age group to not bother getting vaccinated & b) will, in the main, be asymptomatic.
We can’t keep locked down forever to protect freaks who won’t get vaccinated for so-called religious or cultural reasons.

Having said that Boris should be richly congratulated for exceeding his target of 50k cases by July 19th with 4,600 odd to spare and two days in advance on top

What cracks me up and no one is even willing to mention is what exactly will be different on Monday than today other than legal definition? Answer fook all. Masks and table service in pubs, masks in shops and public transport, no difference in holiday destinations other than most are closed.

I really don’t think the country can take another year of these restrictions.

It’s nanny state gone mad & having a huge effect on people’s mental health.
Once we breakdown the amount of infections that result in a death purely as a result of Covid & no underlying condition the figures are absolutely minuscule.
We don’t wreck the economy to protect everyone from flu each year.

My own Mum passed away in April. Not from Covid, she had heart disease, but she was always very sociable & was always out & about all the time seeing her friends which was very important to her well being.
Last Autumn we began to notice she’d lost her spark & declined quite quickly.
I honestly believe she gave up on life as a result of being effectively imprisoned for so long.

Given the choice I’m sure most would say “enough is enough”
