We were all having a nice doze in the chatroom, Punch.

And discussing hot dogs, Reservoir Dogs and Scottish wives.

never a penalty it has to be said. much critisum that would have gone fletchers way will be diverted by a poor poor poor decision.

rotherham though should have been 2 up at the break & missed three sitters late on (albeit with us chasing the game)

basic skills are lacking-
one pattern of play annoyed me, a cleared ball to purse who hoofs it forward in the air (we've got the wind behind us) yet our two forwards (sic) who initally were actually running towards purse affraid - god knows why !
knowing full well the ball was going to come forward, in the air & in their direction.

outcome - a simple clearance for a rotherham defender under no pressure because they'd halted their movement & watched ball go over their heads

clueless & doomed.

ps why was walton going barmy near the end ? waving his arms & bellowing at someone ?

I care Punchie. Just caring less and less about bleddyargo. It seems a hopeless cause.

A poor game in a soul less stadium and a waste of a full day. Fletcher cannot inspire the players, we don't attack and our gameplan is to play for a draw. Good turn out by the Greens but why do we bother?

Perhaps we can do this again next season, sometimes you do have to take one step back, to enable you too take two forward, after all we've done that before too Wink
