Crypto XRP will attempt similar short squeeze on Monday 1st as we saw on Wall St

I see one of the Cryptos Ripple XRP has a group being set up to attempt a similar operation

XRP community have organised a buy and hold at 13.30 GMT on 1st February.....what I thought was amusing at first with a few hundred people has now grown to a telegram group of 30,000 in 24 hours.....I cant see that they will move the market that much but as I hold already will be watching with interest..... XRP was up 8% since the group started I assume investors buying in advance

I have absolutely no idea what the outcome will be but come Monday that group almost certainly will exceed 100,000 and that potential amount pf people would move any instrument if indeed only 20% bought at the same time

This could be amusing. If it really surges (I doubt it) the sell button gets hit PDQ lol

Whilst its not the cheapest way of doing it but if you've got a Revolut bank account you can buy via the App without additional verfications

I looked at Botcoin when it first started and they were fookin pennies a mate of mine who has made literally millions on it was in at the start and tipped me off saying I should stick a grand in and sit on it. Firstly I had loads of things I needed the grand for and it was so complicated with encryption and wallets I just never bothered.
On a side note my mate has lost about half of what he made on bitcoin in the first real rocket when he went into other virtuals. Very dodgy market and more luck than judgement IMO.

Just logged into account and it did indeed pull back as expected (or as I expected some on twitter really are dim as to whats going on here)

Still heavily up some 60% from this time Friday. I can see one clear problem arising as clear as day as 1.30pm Monday gets close...the servers will crash on the main Coin Accounts leaving investors/traders staring at rising/dropping account balances and being unable to do anything about it

Caught between a rock and a hard place. Normally I'd be out and gone completely on what clearly is a pump and dump. However last weeks Wall St action over short squeezes and a social media frenzy has led to everyman and his dog wanting in here

Firstly in my opinion the Coin account servers will crash the nearer we get to 1.30pm... Uphold has already gone down 3 times....secondly I think the smart money will have departed by 1pm

As such I've taken out the original investment and am letting the current profit ride and letting it play out. Safety first on this one

If it soars later fair play to the billy big balls that continue to hold 100%. I mentioned Crypto Michelle earlier in the thread and shes just messaged saying shes dumped half so that was my call to further reduce

I see the regulators in the US are looking at potential fraud from the recent GameStop run fuelled by Reddit lol lol lol. The whole shares market is run by fraud. The only bloke I know who holds millions of shares and has been in the game for over fifty years told me that he's never taken a gamble in his life, he knows when a takeover is coming, he knows when investment has been approved, they all nod and wink away at each other it's just a club. They should ban short selling full stop not just because the "wrong" people have cashed in.

Agree entirely over the short selling by hedge funds certainly

As for XRP not surprisingly investors who dropped millions are going after the organisers. One of the clearest cases of price manipulation I've ever seen
