Lowe's 3:5:2 is to too open a formation for the players available, but rather than change the system, he plays players out of position (eg Grant at wingback)
Left wing back seems to be the weakness atm-Cooper is a forward looking player and is often caught out of position and should never have been signed to fill the vacancy left by MacF's long predicted departure.
Perhaps a 4:4:2 with the wide midfield players protecting the full backs would be better use of the players available.
If new players were to be signed, they would have to replace players coming off the Club payroll permanently by being trading to other Clubs. Agree with that. Holloway or pulis would get more out of the present squad than Lowe, maybe we dont need more players just better coaches. I'm sure that a new coach would get a bounce out of the present players but not for long. The defence is shocking and will get us relegated if we aren't lucky. I think Hallett will stick pretty well with this team and definately with Lowe and hope we scrape enough points to stay up |

See there you go... You immediately suggest a remedy that at this point is never going to happen in a million years.
...and.. We are never going to play 4:4:2. So get that out of your head, pronto. As you have obviously missed the several times it has been discussed by Lowe, and Dewsnip, the club philosophy is to play 3:5:2 throughout, from the first team to the very bottom youth team.
Got any suggestions that are actually grounded in some sort of reality? 3.5.2 might be Lowe & the club’s philosophy but how’s that been working lately but it seems Lowe to stubborn to change things about ok it might be the clubs philosophy but you gotta know when to mix up and change formation at times and when to park the bus Im for all this attacking football but our trouble our defence are simply not good enough or skilful enough to play that type of football there L1 L2 cloggers ffs not premier league players it’s as simple that we could wind up in a relegation battle here so he needs to do ANYTHINK THAT IT TAKES Be it 4.4.2 or whatever formation it takes to keep us in this league at all costs |

Wooton and Canavan would struggle to park a mini metro in a bus bay. |
