My apologies Mr Seadog but I'm not sufficiently into politics that I'd start my own thread lambasting left wing parties. However, as one who considers himself centre-right I feel compelled to try and counterpunch the daily ATD lefty attacks by illustrating Labour's chronic ineptitude in the not so distant past. Take Liam Byrne's note that austerity was the reason there was no money left - weren't they just about to leave office after thirteen (13) years of power? I do not vote Labour, Gordy Broon stole my pension, most politicians are corrupt, this thread is entitled Tory Party Corruption, not yer but not whatabout but.

I could have retired last year but he and the banks etc scuppered that.

I can’t be bothered responding to Harve’s usual bollox, but everytime Brown gets a mention my piss starts to boil, that prick and the rest of the Labour cabinet robbed our pensions big style, I’ll never vote Labour again as long as my arse points downwards but to try and get back on topic, why is anybody surprised, I can’t think of any politician of any party that I’d trust, they’re all bent the lot of them.
Perhaps they ought to investigate Blair as well, he seemed to do quite well when he shipped out.

I don't think anyone is confused about it other than you. The story isn't hidden it's all over the press but like any other sleaze story in a few weeks it will be just more chip paper. An inquiry will be held, everybody will knashing their teeth, recommendations will be made and it will all blow over until the next scandal. Fook all changes.

Interesting to note that a Mr Bill Crothers a top civil servant joined Greensill Capital as an adviser while still working for the government. I wonder what Boardman will make of him and the Civil Service for allowing that to happen.
