Hope he's no descendent now that he's planning to vote for the party recently found to be institutionally racist and anti Semitic. |

Never trust a Tory I really don't know why that haven't just sorted this out already? It's all a big fook up and I think that the Government has managed to get stuck between a need to improve heat loss and drive heating fuel use down and trusting big business to actually report the results of tests in a lawful manner. I would think that the manufacturers are sitting on squeaky bums now but Im not sure they would be able to stump up the billions if sued? I really feel for the leaseholders who bought apartments passed off by building regs overseen by their local authorities which were actually death traps. Also let's not forget we are the only county in Europe that allows high rise to be built with only one staircase obviously with two fire escapes most if not all the residents would have escaped. The problem has been around for years through successive leaders and governments but Boris could easily gain some brownie points by just borrowing another thirty bills t add to the trillions Covid has cost us. |

| In March 2006, several men nominated for life peerages by then Prime Minister Tony Blair[1] were rejected by the House of Lords Appointments Commission. It was later revealed they had loaned large amounts of money to the governing Labour Party,[2]
Labour - it's always someone else's fault. |

| The good news keeps on coming, the Guardian today reporting that the Tories lead in the polls keeps on getting bigger -
''In the latest Opinium poll for the Observer, the Tories have stretched their lead to 5pts, to 42% (up 3pts on a fortnight ago) while Labour are on 37% (down 1pt). Boris Johnson maintains his lead on who would be the best prime minister: 32% now select Johnson (-1) while 27% think Starmer would make the best PM'' |

If Scotland left, there majority would be pretty insurmountable. |

How utterly disapointing. Campbell started out his journalistic life writing porno stories for Forum Magazine. His overactive hero was "the Riviere Gigolo" which were purportably based on his own real-life sexual escapades. Drat the bounder. |

We are shite, we are corrupt but so is/ was everybody else so there is nothing to see. We are indeed! However, those that embrace the politics of the left do have those sturdy champions who run the Guardian to keep them on an even keel (like the nautical reference?) err, I think? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Naturally the former editor Mr Alan Rusbridger sprung eloquently to the rescue.... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

Is Boris any worse is than a certain Peter Mandelson who's riding to Keir Starmer's rescue... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]This the same Peter Mandelson who took Reinaldo on a free Italian holiday as a guest of a sausage manufacturer. |

I heard something like that but I'm not entirely certain. What I do know is that Peter Mandelson had to resign as a minister on two separate occasions. The first was for an undeclared loan from a fellow MP to buy a house in trendy Notting Hill and then for supposedly helping a controversial Indian billionaire and his brother get a speeded up British passport. |
