they wont be able to enforce that though as if the virus is growing it will be spreading at the sametime and it wont be contained in one area. The country cant afford another lockdown but i dont think it will have a choice when the next wave comes towards the end of the year.

Any second wave and we should, should be in a position to at least learn from what was done wrong the first time around. The discovery of the steroid treatment cuts the death rate going forward by 25-30% straight away, so that is a huge find.

I see in Germany that hundreds have been told to self isolate after an outbreak in a slaughterhouse.

There are very mixed messages coming from government and media. We had an AIRBNB last week for July, as far as Airbnb is concerned we are open for business yet the Gov.uk website under its advice for accomadation providers clearly says we can't let unless to key workers having to self isolate ect. Our guests said that they had seen on the telly that holidays are alright from July when they clearly aren't. We cancelled their booking and have blocked the calendar again. Judging by the amount of people in Tavistock at present I reckon most people booking thru Airbnb and booking.com are just quietly taking bookings. I personally know someone with a letting business in France and they are booked solid until August yet their lockdown is if anything tighter than ours.
Lots of selfish people who are prepared to go on holiday and what's more selfish people providing the accomadation for them to do it.

My bheys GF went to the 3 Crowns the other day, £21 for four bottles of beer, she said it was horrendous and left not long after they got there.

The virus doesn't transmit at all well outside, particularly in high temperatures, high humidity and high levels of UV. In fact the chance of contracting it outside in the summer is very low indeed. It's inside when people are crammed in together where the transmission takes place. Doesn't excuse those morons on the barbican though.

I was going to say............Brazil, especially in the favelas, CV-19 is rampant, and increasing exponentially. Also, in Florida, there's a huge spike in new infections. The urban fact that CV-19 doesn't like heat or humidity is just that - an urban myth, or maybe a Facebook myth - anyway, it's all bollox.

Just waiting for our 2nd wave now, after thousands march in London, thousands go to the beaches, thousands descend on Anfield last night, thousands at illegal raves over London the last few nights - also huge raves in Manchester and Glasgow - and of course, closer to home - the thousands of litter leaving oiks who descended on the Barbican over the last couple of nights. It's inevitable.

Trumps handling of the Pandemic ranks only 2nd to the catastrophic roaster we're lumbered with in number 10.

Or Sweden, or Brazil, or Belgium, or Spain.........believe it or not it's not only our leaders that are fookin useless.

No doubt, Trump has been a disaster.

But, in all fairness...  Much of what happens in the USA is down to the individual states themselves and it's the state Governors and state government that has authority over what happens within them.

There is a spike in Leicester in meat processing plants and takeaway queues being blamed. Only a matter of time before the resorts down here get hit.
