then do you delay the start of next season to do that? Why do we remotely think this will be sorted by the end of July though. Best estimates for vaccines after testing are around 12 months away Somehow I think we'll be looking back on this thread and laughing at our suggestion that we thought we'd finish the 2020 season Still I see Boris' personal psychopath Cummings has decided we have to infect 60% of ourselves under some social experiment he's devised to cut down on the elderly weak and sick |

The reality of 60% of us getting it in the coming months - with 1 in 5 needing hospital treatment, would be cataclysmic for our health service. |

Next step will be to close the schools as they are the easiest places to turn into triage centres but doubt there will be enough health personnel to man them - what a mess!! |

| Let's be honest Bojo is only a figurehead the banks and businesses run the country. Our "response" reminds me of the foot and mouth outbreak and Tony Liars claim that the countryside was "open for business " when it should have been closed instantly. Back then he was listening to tourism bosses instead of Scientists as Bojo and Trump must be to keep borders open between UK and US now. |

| In our area of Spain, bars, restaurants and businesses are closed for 14 days at least - supermarkets and pharmacies remain open. This has been caused by the influx of holiday home owners from Madrid and elsewhere who have taken the opportunity to have an extra holiday due to schools being closed, and many of whom have the virus.
Murcia was virus free for a long while until the 'Madrilones' started appearing.
Feckers. |

| National League playing today and as a sunday league player in Cornwall Unfortunately The FA have 'passed the buck' back to the leagues to make the call which I find very disappointing as I was expecting we might fall inline with the Scottish and Welsh FA's, as volunteers ourselves we rely on the support from our paid colleagues at the FA but hey ho as grass roots footballers we are lower then dirt on a boot it seems. |

| The NHS was never prepared for this, they looked frightened from the off and that's because their decieit was going to be found out.
Old people s homes need to be banned from visitors immediately to at least give them a chance of survival.
There are not enough ventilators yet that's what the delay tactic is for, perhaps someone out there will ask about their decor at a later time and how much blood they have on their hands.

then do you delay the start of next season to do that? if the league starts up again after 3 weeks the teams will need to get back into shape as alot of them wont be training so had another week or two on top it makes it even more of a clusterfuck of a situation. Start New season in late August and efl & jpt cancelled |

Not yet, but Government is considering a total lockdown for the country. Worse still, they've shut the golf courses. |

| . Yes you can cancel football, public meetings etc but all that will do is turn us all into a load of powder puffs that have no immunity to anything in the long run. Humans need to be exposed to this so when the next one comes we will be stronger, a bit like pruning a rose bush. Might sound disgusting to some, and I accept I will not be popular for saying it but human kind needs this sort of thing every once in a while. |

| One possibility muted by the Brighton Chairman (given that this season is certainly over) is there is only promotion and no relegation this season. Two up from the Championship (Leeds and WBA - and the Prem plays with 22 teams in 20/21), replaced by two up from L1 (Coventry and Rotherham), replaced by three from L2 (Crewe, Swindon and Argo - remember L1 is currently a team down due to Bury's expulsion), replaced by two up from the national league. Only problem with that is Macclesfield are now certain to go bust meaning that L2 will need another team for 20/21 unless it goes with 23 teams. |

You do realise that if this approach was taken, you'd end up with about two million dead in Britain? That's just for starters... |
