YOUNG Argyle striker Alex Fletcher has extended his loan deal with Tiverton Town until the end of the season.
Fletch has eight goals in 11 appearances for the Yellows in the Southern League Premier Division South and will remain at Ladysmead until May 3. Tivvy sit second in the table on 62 points, five behind Paul Wotton’s Truro City but the league leaders have played four fewer games.
Alex, from Newton Abbot, progressed through various ranks of the Argyle Academy and made sufficient impression to be rewarded with his debut under Derek Adams in 2016 - an FA Cup tie against Newport County.
He has made 24 appearances in total as a Pilgrim, scoring on three occasions and had gained previous experience away from Home Park with Torquay United as well as Aldershot Town.
We wish Fletch the best of luck for the remainder of the 2019-20 campaign.
