| Man, in the middle for the game
Ollie Yates
So far this season he has issued 83 yellow cards and six reds in 25 games.
Assisted by Simon Shaw and John Flynn
Fourth official is Martin Ross.
Newport County AFC travel to Home Park to take on high-flying Plymouth Argyle this weekend. County got back to winning ways during the week against Macclesfield Town, however Argyle are on a fine run of form, so will represent a real challenge for the Exiles down in Devon. Newport captain Joss Labadie looks ahead to the game Plymouth are one of the favourites for the league. They’re a massive club with a big budget, a good manager and good players so they will be looking to go up automatically. We’ve proved that we can go up against them before – we beat them here – so we’ll be looking to take maximum points again and put a dent in their ambitions. Newport are delighted to announce the loan signing of versatile play maker 24-year-old Otis Khan from Mansfield Town. Newport have some defensive injury problems for Saturday's game - centre-back Mark O'Brien is out with a knee injury and fellow defender Ryan Inniss has a calf strain. ARGYLE manager Ryan Lowe is looking ahead to our next opponents, as we host Newport County here at Home Park today, and our chance to earn three more points in the race for promotion from Sky Bet League Two. Newport boss Michael Flynn is a familiar face to Lowe, as he has faced teams managed by him many times and has huge respect for his opposite number. While the Exiles will naturally come with their own game-plan to combat the Pilgrims, Ryan will be sticking to the principles that have yielded great success for Argyle. Antoni Sarcevic has dismissed title talk and says he and his team-mates are only focused on beating Michael Flynn’s Newport County at Home Park on Saturday. A late Crawley Town leveller put a stop to a four-game winning streak on Tuesday but, despite the fact we remain one point and one place away from the Sky Bet League Two automatic promotion places, Sarce refuses to get carried away. Right now, you can’t talk about that sort of stuff, we are only going into February,” he said. “We have seven games that month and I think that will prove pivotal in the season. Before we start thinking about that [the title], we have to take it game by game first. Injuries, The list stays the same, one week they are nearly ready and two weeks later no sign of any of them Martin ‘Buster’ Phillips. Is joining us for Saturday’s meeting with Newport County I am going for a scrappy game and a win by the odd goal, ! - Nil to Argyle

| So the perfect afternoon would be Swindon and Shitty draw at the County Ground, Crewe lose at Walsall and we win today, leaving Argo 1 pt behind Shitty and 3pts behind Swindon - that would be good. COYG |

| Newport are a good team and possible dark horse contenders for a late promotion push. Expect another horror show like Tuesday from Argo.
Argo 1-3 Newport County |

| Shitty equalise still not so bad for us, keeps us more in touch with Swindon and two games in hand on them. |

| I thought Swindon would struggle without Doyle, they do seem like favourites for Champs right now. We need another goal or two. |
