| Walsall were winning, but Chesterfield have just equalised. The draw will still make City 9 points from safety (with 5 games left) so as it stands they wouldn't be relegated on Monday.
Walsall now winning! City would be 11 points behind 3 teams on 46 points. Mathematically possible to be relegated on Monday but Walsall are away to Charlton. City face Leyton Orient (who are on 46 points) and Bury are home to Colchester. I think their relegation will be confirmed either in the away game to Rochdale (14/04) or the home game to Walsall (21/04). |

| I'm sure Lord Tisdale is pleased that Tisdale still thinks survival might be possible- Exeter boss Paul Tisdale says his side will keep on fighting, despite another defeat which leaves them all but doomed to relegation from League One. City's 1-0 loss to Scunthorpe leaves them eight points away from safety with just five games left to play. "It's not over until it's over, we can only try and win the next game, that will always be my job," Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon. "When you're the manager it's about winning the next game." Tisdale added: "I'm proud of the way we've played, we've got to keep trying to win every game. "It was symptomatic of our season that we failed to score and then conceded a goal at the wrong time." And Tisdale said he was happy with the way his side played at Glanford Park. "There was a good balance and we covered the pitch well and moved the play well, there was symmetry to it," he said. "It was hard to fault that first hour or so in the way that we approached the game. "We matched them and we could count ourselves unlucky to be 1-0 down perhaps." | Exeter face bottom of the table Rochdale on Saturday- for Rochdale it is likely to be a must win game (as I imagine they will lose tomorrow agst Sheff Utd). I don't think City will go down, even if they lose, as Leyton Orient face Sheff Utd away and Walsall face Tranmere at home (both Leyton Orient and Walsall must win and City lose or draw for city to be relegated next saturday). |

| Given the points cushion we SHOULD be safe but we're going to get some serious mullerings before the season over. It's far from over yet.
As for Exeter, I think they'll stay up now. |

Could you not do it on the pitch, though? Just saying. |

Just saying. Mmm.No,i think a scrum of stewards would surround me very quickly and put me in the meatwagon pronto. On the grounds of public decency and possible trauma inflicted on impressionable junior greens,no doubt. |

| The dumb feckers were singing that knowing they are never going to be anywhere else but Conf/L2 with the occasional foray into L1.
NAAFI - No ambition and f-all interest. City till I die, I know I am, I'm sure I am, I'm City till I die. I can't read or write and I'm married to my sister, but I'm City till I die!
An easy six point for us next season. |

An easy six point for us next season. Get a grip man, we're not so dumb that we didn't know that going down the slide is far easier than climbing up the steps, last season was great kicking your scummy green butt and your struggle to see off the might of Dagenham and Macclesfield has taken the edge of what would under different circumstances would have been a a torrid season, oh wait a minute, the Dags seem to have seen you off, thank feck for Hereford eh ? Football is as always about the moment, the JPT and League wins over you were, like the play off victory at the Morgue, great days for the bauys, the resumption of hostilities, pitch only of course, next season is the only good thing to come from a season of pain and anguish, I just hope the Turks slip up too, 12 easy points which would be a great boost in our promotion run. Gonna go for a bit of a sit down now, this post has drained me. |

Gonna go for a bit of a sit down now, this post has drained me. Get a grip man, wake up and smell that Alta Rica, another season of struggle next season, even flirt with relegation to that Blue Square one is on the cards again, apart from the marrying of sisters, that's a Plymouth/Cornish trait only!! lol I agree with the carman!! Noble will be gone, Dunne will be gone & Troy will be gone, possibly even Sercs too, & I predict at least one of them will be going to Torquay, see how far we've come? and we'll still have Kalamity Krysiac in goal, bottom 6 at best next season |

| Sorry Tis and Sandford, wasn't including you in that incestuous maelstrom that is Exeter City. Both of you along with DTT (our pet Grecian) and Red Square are clearly cuts above the other inbreds. Well, you post on here don't you? Meanwhile back at Fortress SJP, I hear that your playing budget is going to be circa £800,000 which is roughly what it was in your last year in the BSP. That is truly doleful especially when you have bullet proof Paul in charge so he'll be playing yoof team members and preparing you all mentally for the drop by October. Needless to say, we were the better team over the 90 minutes in the JPT. As you both say, normal service will be resumed come August, bring it on! |

| Sorry! Yes I do. Sorry Mr Flag. How did I confuse you with your cross-dressing cousin? When are we going to see some of you Greeks at the Freak Meet? We could have a GFM! Next season I suppose. Have to meet up on the train and have a few beers. |

As you both say, normal service will be resumed come August, bring it on! Apology accepted Mr Carman Nice to see a greeny with that particular trait, few & far between, a green who can admit they were totally wrong As you say, Bullet proof Paul is err well bullet proof, we can't afford to get rid, he still believes he's the dogs dangly bits, caught between a bullet & a bollock ain't we. We were a shambles in pre-season, and have remained so all season, I haven't been since November, mainly due to ill health, but doubt I would have bothered had I been fine & dandy, wasting my hard earned on that dross served up? No we're back where we belong, lack of foresight, lack of balls = lack of success always has been the ECFC way, unfortunately looking like it always will be. At least I have a premiership club that are going places to fall back on here... UTChiefs |
