| Hmmm, not looking good for our red and white chums.
Next season's playing budget slashed to 2/3 of this season. Less than ours already and less than a lot of (whisper it) BSP teams.
Exeter are down. Which will be all but confirmed on Tuesday. We are far from safe with a hard run in. Its looking better for us though. |

| Who would have thought it, the Gulls possibly being the top Devon club! |

| Another excellent late point for you guys, another belly up job from us, I make you good odds against now while we are short odds on. |

| Even I, the worlds second biggest Argyle cynic after Freathy, think we have a chance now, I'm afraid you guys are as good as down though. |

| I think it will be two from us, Daggers, Hereford and the Maggotsfield.
If we had a manager with some ideas and half decent communication skills, like Gas and Northampton, we'd be well out of this mess by now. |

| City look doomed. 5 points from safety and the worst goal difference in L1 (-27). Looking at the goals on SSN, City's defence is almost as bad as ours! I can't see City getting anything at Tranmere (luckily for them, bottom club, Chesterfield are in the Johnstone's Paint final). Walsall/ Wycombe both have hard games (at home), but City's safety point gap could increase.
I'm not confident with Argyle, yet, as we could easily drop back into the bottom two on Saturday. The 3 teams below us are all at home (although Macclesfield play Barnet who are 2 points above us). I think we'll lose at an in-form northampton- we needed to win last night to give us a cushion. Our GD isn't as bad as 3 of the 4 teams around us (including Barnet), so if we lose we need to try and keep it to the odd goal as I think GD might be a factor at the end of the season. |

| I think we'll stay up by the skin of our teeth. It's going to be close though. Nice for me to see Cheltenham bottling it again |

My mate at the match said you played like a relegation team. His text " We played like a relegated side, three loanees and half a side" Reading between the lines, it sounds like the top brass at SJP are already planning for life in L2 next season. Which, to be honest is all but nailed on now. |

| Chemical - Our defence is actually rather good.
I think for the first time this season we'll stay up, Has anyone seen herefords or macclesfield's fixtures? Cant see hereford picking up more than a couple of points!
Can't beat a Devon Derby! |

| Simple equation now = can't see us finishing above 22nd, can't see you finishing below 22nd |

| It's the yo yo effect that we are doing, in relegation one week, out the next that could see us down still, it is our last couple of tough fixtures that could see us back in there at the wrong time, we need that 2 wins on the bounce-that has alluded us all year- to get the breathing space we need, I would be happy going into the last 2 games with a 4 point gap between us and the last relegation place, if it just a point I fear for us. The next three games are, Northampton, Bradford and Hereford I think we will know our fate after these games. |

| Walsall could further increase City's relegation woes with a home win against Colchester tonight (who exeter face at Sid James on Saturday) and stretch exeter's safety gap to 8 points. Bottom of the table Chesterfield, face Sheff Utd at Bramall lane tomorrow- a shock win or draw would see Exeter sink to the bottom of league 1. Chesterfield face Scunny at home on Saturday. |

We are down no matter what happens tonight. Looking forward to playing Torquay next year, they will bottle it. I don't think you will survive and the Devon/Cornish Derby will have to wait another season or two |

I'd agree with this. A better idea will be formed on Saturday at 1655. If we manage to win and the other results go our way, then in all likelyhood, barring a disaster we'll stay up. We do well against the higher ranked teams and not so well against teams around us in the league. I had us nailed on for a defeat against the Shrews and Rovers and a tonking of Dagenham. |

| I think the title of this thread can be changed to, 'Do you fancy the Gargs to stay up', nine points short of safety and Tisdale in the paper stating we are still in with a chance is just another unwelcome nail in our slammed shut coffin.
Unfortunately Maccie's carpness, allied to the Bulls reverting to type, seems to to be your shibboleth, lucky feckers. |

| We are 11/2 and drifting for relegation, Greeks are 1/20 and shortening!!! How definite for the drop? Even Tisdale isn't running down to Ladbrokes with a tenner burning a hole in his pocket. |

| Well that is that then, Hereford and Maccy will see you boys right, no trouble, 22 goalless games out of 41 have done for us, I said early on I would have swapped Tw@sdale for just about anybody and I haven't been far wrong, get ready Gargs, if we hang on to our superstar manager you will kick our butt next season and you will do it without breaking sweat. |

| I might be wrong, but it looks as if, providing all the results line up correctly, Exeter could be relegated on Monday. Which is nice. |

Lets hope so Andy. We have been shite all season and something is going wrong. We will be OK next season and hopefully we might score next season and start to win again. There is absolutely no accountability at the Club, which IMO has helped create the malaise we now suffer from. My only saving grace all through the season was that Argyle were going to the BSP and that looks less likely with every game that passes. At least when we begin next season, whatever happens City will still be above you...I love alphabetical order me. |
