| Grovehill makes the reasonable point a possible one season wonder. We're not exactly in trouble here as such only a few points off the top six. Two minutes more and we'd have been saluting another dour victory. The overhyping pre season hasnt helped and Mayor clearly not a patch on Carey or Lamerias doesn't help If we can scrape along in current position for 2 months gives Lowe opportunity in the January window. |

| Agree Harve, the table means jack shit until after xmas, if we can stay in the mix, then after January will be crucial. I think the point about Mayor at the moment is a fair one. |

| Lowe will pay for every bodies over expectation after Brent leaving and the inevitable lift it gave the fans. The mistake the club has made is not pointing out the hangover from the Brent era and in particular the quite obvious hole in the accounts (Hallett himself has acknowledged a £1.5m loss last season) we also had to replace our best three attacking players. With the quite obvious shortfalls it became obvious to me early on that Hallett was not going to be in a position to replace the whole team including the minus eighty goal defence. That leaves us half way through a squad rebuild and only January to make a difference which won't happen as January is shite for clubs like ours we would be more likely to lose a key player than gain one. In the meantime Lowe needs to be given a chance, I can't blame him for being over confident, if he was as down on the team as Freathy it wouldn't help at all it's his job to be positive. I haven't been able to see past a season of consolidation this season because of the retained shite defence, because of the mankover draining the player budget and the very obvious level of shiteness we've achieved under Brent. It makes it hard to get excited about this season but we are where we are, we just need to endure one more Brent like season before we can really break the chains and move on properly next season. Glad I'm not going. |

| For a 2-2 it was quite a dull game between 2 poor sides. The slow build up from Palmer to the centre backs is woeful and allowed Scunthorpe to cover all the space. We looked more of a threat when Palmer threw the ball out. Edwards and Mayor looked quite off their normal games, Joel Grant had a better game and Riley and rudden looked positive changes (despite lack of end product). We look a mid-table side and the football is a repetitive bore-fest. The attendances are dropping - think there'll be another fall for the next home game.
Atmosphere was quite poor and there looked to be issues with the stewards and block 3. Lots of criticism of Jon Back on Twitter. |

| Lowe promised attacking winning football at Homepark i assumed he meant for argo! Lets hope there's a list of proper managers being drawn up for when the "Progressive" bubble really does burst, which may well be sooner than we think. Bungo Back, how he got and kept his job is another great mystery, hounding paying customers does not seem like a winning formula to me officer Back! one for Si to sort out. |

A mate of mine is a Spurs fan also, not been a good week for them - lost two, scored two, conceded ten. |

| And lost to Crewe the week before, even worse than being a Man Utd fan at the moment. |

| As soon as his AAA pass is removed nool will crawl away from where he came from in the first place and go back to supporting man poo.
Funny how whenever a directors box position is missing nool can't be seen for shit. |

| n angry Ryan Lowe admitted Plymouth Argyle’s 2-2 draw with Scunthorpe United felt like a defeat after they conceded a stoppage time equaliser.
Lowe was critical of his players for their overall performance and especially the way they conceded so late in the game at Home Park.
The Pilgrims remain in 12th position in League Two as their stuttering start to the season continued.
Lowe said at his post-match Press conference: “I’m angry really, disappointed and it’s not good enough.
“You concede a goal with 30 seconds to go, it’s not good enough. It should never have come back from the other end anyway.
“Overall, I thought the game weren’t good enough to be honest. I thought the performances of every single player weren’t good enough because of the standards we have set.
“I have always said we are not quite there yet, and this just proves that we are not quite there yet.
“Whatever you do, however you do it, you make sure you don’t concede when there’s 30 seconds or a minute to go, and we did.
“So they have all failed in the attempt to win three points today, which I’m angry about because to get to where we want to get that can’t happen.”
Argyle were denied a second successive win by Scunthorpe’s equaliser in the third minute of stoppage time from substitute Abobaker Eisa.
A long clearance from ‘keeper Rory Watson was flicked on by Jamie Proctor and Eisa ran onto the ball before placing his shot past Alex Palmer.
Lowe said: “We can’t just let one guy head it and then another guy run through the middle of us. We work hard every day on stuff like that.
We have to work hard for our goals. We work on our set pieces every day to try and make sure we can score.
“Unfortunately, teams are not working for goals against us. They are getting given them.”
Lowe continued: “We have got two goalscorers on the injury table at the moment (Byron Moore and Dom Telford), and that’s no disrespect to the other lads.
“They are getting chances and not scoring. We can’t keep continuing to score two goals at Home Park and then come away with a point, it just can’t happen.”
When Lowe was asked whether he took any positives away from the game, he replied: “Nothing at all.
“It was a disgusting game. I didn’t like it one bit from start to finish.
“I didn’t think we had energy in the first half. I thought our decision-making was poor and when we got in the final third we sort of stumbled a little bit.
“No disrespect to Scunthorpe but they are coming to our turf. We have got to be in their faces early on, win it back from the kick-off. That doesn’t happen.
“So I was disappointed in the whole game and the whole performance. At one point, I felt ‘We have nicked three points here’.
“We would have had nicked three points and the lads would still have got a bit of a b******ing and I would have told them where the wrongs were.
“There weren’t many rights today, which is disappointing, but I don’t know. That’s probably the level we are at.
“That’s where we are at, and that’s what we need to address very quickly.”
Argyle’s midfield playmaker Danny Mayor had to be taken off in the 76th minute, immediately after defender Will Aimson had scored his second goal of the game.
Lowe confirmed that Mayor had ‘rolled his ankle’ but did not seem too concerned about the severity of the injury. |
