| Plymouth Argyle have enjoyed a mixed start to their League Two campaign since being relegated last term, with the Pilgrims having picked up 15 points so far this season, thus putting them 12th in the table after 11 games played this season. Last time out the Home Park outfit picked up an impressive 1-0 victory away at Mansfield Town, with a single goal from Conor Grant proving to be enough for the Devonshire based side to take all three points away from Field Mill last Saturday. That result means that Argyle have now avoided defeat in three of their last five games, with draws against Crawley and Oldham Athletic both contributing to that total, thus giving club’s manager Ryan Lowe something to build upon ahead of this Saturday’s clash with lowly Scunthorpe United, who have only won once this season. Ahead of their clash against the Iron, we take a look at the XI that Ryan Lowe is likely to field tomorrow afternoon. Alex Palmer is expected to continue between the sticks for the Pilgrims, with the 23-year-old West Brom loanee having started in all eleven games for Lowe’s side this season. In front of the keeper, we also expect Gary Sawyer, Will Aimson and Scott Wootton to line up in the back three that they performed so well in last weekend against Mansfield, with Aimson playing the role of a sweeper in the centre of the trident. In midfield, Lowe is likely to shift Danny Mayor in-field to fill the number ten position behind the front two, which will be an enforced change due to George Cooper being highly likely to miss out due to a facial injury he sustained last game. With Mayor moving infield, Lowe will likely stick with the midfield four that he deployed last game, with Conor Grant and Anthony Sarcevic managing proceedings in the ‘engine room’, whilst Callum McFadzean and Joe Edwards once again take up their positions out wide on the flanks. With Cooper likely to be absent this weekend, we expect Lowe to give Ryan Taylor the nod up front alongside Joel Grant as Argyle seek to take advantage of Scunthorpe’s defensive frailties in the air. With Scunthorpe having failed to win in their last four games in all competitions, Argyle will be hopeful that they can pick up maximum points this Saturday at Home Park. |

| Scunthorpe are terrible but we're not much better. Very difficult afternoon ahead.
Argo 0-2 Scunthorpe |

| Shitty one up, Gulls one up, Argo one down, listening to Rory Fallon who does excellent commentary, he is making the point that it is always a mistake to start a game playing backwards. |
