That the base for the wheelchair area which is on the top nice and flat, will get a bit wet and a bit windy

Yes can see it more clearly from todays photo on ladies thread. Looks like complete row missing (well there is) looks all wrong, same at other end with some seats just missing in top left corner

Lol 160 photos from Nools buddies at Greens on Screen and yet not one single photograph of the fiasco exacerbated by Bents and Halletts designs at the Barn Park end

That view completly verifies us weirdos on ATD saying that the 60yr steel should have gone for scrap and the whole thing rebuilt.

Consider the bill for the refurb is 8 mill plus, another few hundred grand to extend the East end of the GS shorly would have made sense.

And wtf is being done about Bob's garden. It looks even worse beside the shiny new makeover. FFS.

Anyway. That's my Monday morning mank over with. Got to go and fix the roof. A few slates have gone a a bit skewiff after last night's windy woggles!

That's unbelievable. I can't believe they installed those seats surely you should just take a sight line from at least the nearest side of the six yard box through the bottom corner of the GS and make a triangular walkway. There's no way you could ask anyone to pay to sit there. Maybe even glaze it? That really is shite.

I see someone on the FB group now stating that maybe the seats that are affected actually have no seats , just backs - just got to say along with the other niggles with the refurb, its a bizarre affair!!

It’s easy to tart up the 70 year old angle iron inside but the failings of the overall layout should have been addressed within the revamp. I hope for Halletts sake the corporate thing takes off even though it seems he’s not in it to profit.

Its funny how there wasn't money to knock down the grandstand to start again but money became available for a new roof and "high end resin finishes" and 3 Funny how Exeter managed to cobble together something reasonable for £3.5 million. Agree with yourself its an abortion. Yes its 10 times better than what went before no question but what sort of moronic architect signed that off as acceptable.
Has Hallett dealt with Bobbys garden yet which frankly would cost tops what say £5,000 (lets be generous and say 10k) to clear and landscape in some format.

Hallett has put up what, the initial £5 million which turned into £6.5 mill once the roof was considered and then a further £1.5 mil for the "high end resin finishes" or whatever gibberish hopeless amateur Bungo cooked up to defend the overspend.

So armed with that, numerous other regional and local funding pots you could have gone to the bank with a proposal and got finance for the rest.

Only this level of forward thinking seems to be utterly beyond us and its why the club will never amount to shit in the professional game.

Good old British disparity innit. No one will bat an eyelid if you slag off waiters, waitresses and labourers nowadays but you dare to criticise anyone with money and you get accused of communism and being picky. Who was it who said "I won't have a word said about the fine gennleman"? Or was that something we made up to highlight Nool and his apologetic social climbing?

I heard a whisper that there is a plan to do something with Bobbys Garden that will see that area then become an away fans section. Not sure when or if part of block 1 of the Demport may be incorporated. Time will tell.
