- What cracks me up is we still have the shittest defence ever to walk (and I mean walk) the pitch at Argyle. Despite Lowe being about a million times more talented than Adams if we'd manage to hang on to Carey, Lamieris and Ladapo not bothered with the Bury players I reckon we'd be in the playoffs at least now. Most of our goals seem to be coming mainly from Sarcs and J. Grant. Adams has to take heat for signing the defence but Lowe should also for not booting their arses out at the first opportunity, as for strike forces I think Adams is way better than Lowes.
i get what your saying but its worth noting that its easy to kick them out which i agree with as that defence got us relegated but its not as easy to bring in the replacements if you dont have people in mind. That bury defender lowe brought in seems to be injury prone annd josh grant who i think is ok and seems to be doing a good job in the midfield in that yann songoo role but didnt get picked much to be in the back three other static caravan, sawyer and wootton who is still shite had one or indeed all 3 went in the summer we would be fecked now....more so. I believe all three will be out of contract in the summer so hopefully lowe can talk them into a deal to move elsewhere in jan so he can bring in the defenders needed for the big push seeing as now he would have looked at a few central defenders as it wouldnt take stevie wonder long to see where we are weak. |

| For the umpteenth time feck all will change much in January. We are largely stuck with this squad until next summer. My point was that Lowe would have been far better off not blowing his budget on the Bury players, who haven't really contributed much, and concentrate on what was painfully obvious to anybody with a modicum of common sense. Minus eighty goals was why we got relegated and its also why we won't be promoted this season. |

| Lowe signed 2 CB's and they can't get a game even when they're fit. So Lowe has signed players he thinks are worse than what we had before. I bet Aimson didn't take a pay cut to come here and I suspect that Grant is on at least £500k a year at Chelski-I just hope we are only paying a small percentage of his wages and haven't paid a "loan fee" |

| So 17 games in conceded 20 scored 25 GD +5 - seems clear to me that the defence has galvanised so maybe perception of a shit back three is clouding judgement for some posters, like most managers RL wont change things if they are starting to keep clean sheets regardless who he has brought in as loan players. And of course us punters don't have the insight of what Lowe sees in training, so right at the moment excepting the Exeter debacle I still have faith in Lowe and Shumacher to deliver promotion. |

very much doubt hes earning that much at all. more than the average league 2 player probably but he isnt anywhere near the first team at chelsea so they wouldnt have him on half a million a year contract at all. |

| I think it's seven clean sheets out of seventeen league games played.
That's the same number of clean sheets as for the entire league season last year. Something's changed |

| The last two games especially, Argyle have dug in when under intense pressure and ended up with clean sheets. That wouldn’t have happened with the same players in August or September, so there is clearly a tangible improvement in players performances, individually as well as collectively.
The Exeter debacle aside, we’re in good form. That will be tested massively on Saturday though.
And I just wish Lowe would STFU most of the time. He made himself look a proper c*** prior to the Exeter game. He can spout off when we’re promoted. |

| I think too much is being read into turning over league 2 teams it's a shite league but average teams will always beat some of the top ones. Well see who's right and wrong in May my view still stands that we are an average league 2 team. |
