| I dread to think what the response to this will be, but it would be picked up anyway. Plymouth Argyle FC Verified account @Only1Argyle 45m45 minutes ago More We are calling on willing members of the Green Army to help us give Home Park a spring clean at our Day Of Action. Family-friendly activities, as well as food and drink, will be laid on throughout the day. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Rick Cowdery @Only1Argyle WE are putting together a green team with a special mission – to prepare the way for next season’s Sky Bet League campaign. We are seeking volunteers from the Green Army and local tradespeople to join the Argyle staff on a community Day of Action that will ready Home Park for August’s big kick-off. There are a host of activities planned for Sunday, July 7, including giving the Theatre of Greens a lick of paint; tidying up the area between the Mayflower Grandstand and the Devonport end; helping clear, clean and prepare the ground for the new season; and generally decorating Home Park until it sparkles and shines. Sponsored by internet-based Argyle fans’ forum PASOTI (Plymouth Argyle Supporters on the Internet), and supported by the ubiquitous Green Taverners’ fans’ group, the Day of Action is far from all work and no play, however – we will be staging family-friendly activities throughout the day, which begins at 10am and goes right through to 5pm. Free food and drink will be provided, and everyone taking part will also be given a complimentary ticket to a future first-team friendly. No expertise is required from volunteers – the only qualifications needed are enthusiasm, a community spirit, and a desire to see the Theatre of Greens look her best for the opening day of the season. All instructions will be provided, as will the necessary equipment and clothing. To join our community Day of Action team, please drop us a line to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], with brief personal details, and include any specialist skills that you think may be relevant. This really doesn't paint us in a good light, type of stunt Brent would have pulled. Of course is involved , gotta keep his AAA pass some how. Any way discuss..... |

| Should read..."Mugs needed to save club from deploying a maintenance budget". Shameless, had hoped this type of thing would end under Halletts stewardship. |

| How many times have licks of paint been applied by well-meaning volunteers? Complete waste of time, effort and money if the prep isn't done first - bit like starting the football season without assembling a decent team and having some challenging pre-season games. |

Like I said he needs to keep his AAA pass somehow. Even if this was a well meaning thing instead of a bodge it and scarper approach, The farm being involved has most likely put a few people off helping out. |

| I see the spirit of 30% is alive and kicking at the theatre of schemes under the Hallett tenure, time to get those buckets out for a bit of rattling as well as the paint pots. |

| We act like a non league outfit. It did make me laugh reading that you'll be given a complimentary ticket to a FRIENDLY match! Can't even run to an actual game FFS! |

| Hopefully they'll find someone who isn't colour blind to pick the paint unlike the gagged working group. The shop is a right mess and starting to peel on the doors already.
I'm sure the resident exewebbers can find mocking posts about their painting days at SJP and C&F from those now promoting it. |

Well done Nool. First class job! The thicko hasn't realised that not one person on pasoti has yet heeded his call to volunteer by putting their name down on his thread, and there he is slagging off a considerable part of the fan base that the club would obviously like to attract. A fan base larger than pasoti. A fan base he has no idea about what they do, and don't contribute. This is all from a "sponsor" no less.. It's another embarrassing day for PAFC. |
