It is odd. You'd have to guess that whoever their source is, that source holds a position whereby he needs to be told something is happening, but they aren't privvy to delicate details of why something may have stalled. A sort of 'need to know' level. If that were the case I'd hazard a guess its someone like Cowdery or Bungo that is being told because they'd need to prepare some media Comms. But when it goes tits up, the reasons why stay at Boardroom level.

Not unusual sometimes they take bets down to refresh the list/odds or there has been a mass influx of bets on one person. There again they may actual know something that dickheads who make up claims on forums and social media don't and the club are poised to name the new manager very soon.

if you think we will be playing attractive winning football under holloway in a league where his lack of tactical abilities will be exposed then you may aswell stay at home.

Thats the difference between myself and most others. Always happy to put myself on the line whatever the outcome. Others need to man up rather being afraid they were wrong about something. Lowe pulled out at 11.20pm Tuesday night.
I dont know why but am guessing that bit is personal between him and Hallett

My hope was that Hallett could talk him around. Brent and the rest of the (minor) board wanted Holloway from outset but the salary required was too high. Hallett vetoed it.

Now I wouldnt be surprised if either of those two still end up as manager though. Just get on with it Argo

I’d like Holloway, I haven’t a clue whether he’s the man or Lowe or anybody else.
