If the EFL asked for much more than they get now, the Premier League could very easily shut off all funding. It's a case of the Premier League giving the EFL what they do now and saying "there you go, that should keep you going for the season".

There is much unfairness in football today, especially the parachute payments that relegated Premier League teams receive when plying a trade in the Championship.

I don't know anything mate the apparently is just what twitter is saying.

I can't see it being Holloway however the timing would make sense with his QPR contract being up at the end of May.

QPR would have allowed him to take any job to get him off the payroll and if he really wanted a managerial role he would have taken it and either settled with qpr or waived what he was sitting on its not like its not a quick 5 minute job to resolve that. The fact his deal with them ends next week and he happens to have a speaking gig in plymouth doesnt mean anything to me.

The fact QPR fired him wouldnt have meant Hallet would have to pay compo so i dont buy this latest fan fare story.

This isn't the appointment to united the fan base,
which this needs to be,

Whoever comes in we need to back them from the start.

As fans we don't have to back anyone, ultimately the club is bigger than any individual, I'm starting to get a really bad feeling about any impending managerial announcement.

or perhaps it shows what kind of intent & Ambition the board have really got (getting excuses in early then I see)

Let's hope the board is making the appointment in the spirit of bringing a quick promotion and impending success, we can only see.
