Just a case of a cruel leader being replaced by a leader who turns cruel. Hallett will soon find that although it may be easy to build a throne with bayonets, though you can't sit on it for long. Out of the frying pan and into the fire. Just the same as being forced to pick a leader out of Boris Johnson and Michael Gove.

I'm hearing within 6 weeks and Brent will be gone.
Could well be more news to follow.

Hammer and nails ready. Everything measured up twice (measure twice, mark twice, cut once etc). Kettle on. All Bob The Builder safety kit appropriately deployed.
Nothing is ever nailed on until it has been completed.
And knowing how many complete assholes, which is many of you feckin idiots so far as I can see, use this site I have to be very particular about the language chosen and can't possibly say it will happen fore shore because I'll get a gleeful kicking eternally if I do and it isn't.
Not that I give a feck about what some of you think anyway.
I only post it for the greater good.

No idea but he will no longer have any direct involvement in the club when/if it all comes to pass.
Only the Ice Rink plan will remain.

We all know how much Brent likes playing hardball at the last moment though.
We'll see.

Just block them SFD its great not seeing my troll waiting and waiting to see me post and instantly responding. I used to come on as always very early morning and he'd always been on the list. Not any more. They soon lose interest if you cant see them and subsequently react.

I'm rather hoping that SFD is correct and that SH has a seriously walleted investor lined up to actually make a difference.

Come on let's leave Brexit out of this. At the end of the day this is just a rumour that you've posted hoping that if or when it comes off you'll get some kudos for it. Let's leave the "doing it for the people" routine for people that really do care about the people. Asshole, idiot, ect, ect.

Indeed not. Wishful thinking on my part. It's the only way I'll ever be enticed to physically attend again.

I have to laugh Andrew old boy.... The ardent socialist wishing for a "walleted investor" to turn up, and vowing not to return to HP until saved by such a money man.

Any less of an evil than a capitalist extracting money from the club Rickler?

For 'ardent socialist' read 'democratic socialist'. There is a big difference. I don't want to end capitalism but to work with it for the common good.
I have no problem with people becoming very wealthy, as long as they are ethical and pay their dues to government/society.
The media has brainwashed people into believing that anything but cut throat capitalism is evil and must be destroyed. Most western nations have 'socialism' in the form of healthcare, schools, social care etc etc etc It is about getting the balance right so that we develop societies where everyone is cared for and given opportunity to succeed. That means that corporations and wealthy elites have to be reined in on their riches and influence over government.

Sorry but everytime I see the thread title I'm reminded of this. It might even be an allegory for the Brent years.

I don't see what one has to do with the other... But since you ask.. Tringy's actions are a lot less "evil".
I hope that clears things up for you.
