Net result is that if we can’t tempt a former player, a Plymothian, who’s career has nosedived to come and join us, it just hammers home our perpetual Village-ness. TBH I don't think the intention was to sign him, I think it was a distraction from yet another shit window in which everyone has strengthened bar Austerity Argo. |

| DA, Hallett, 30% and the useless 'board' of shite are now properly taking the piss out of paying fans. They did jack shit in the transfer window and are worried fans may have actually noticed so suddenly pretend to be all ambitious by going public with an offer they knew full well would never in a million years be acceptable to the target player. |

What still saddens me even though it shouldnt is the fact some still believe this was genuine from the club. Just like if we are that rich how can we turn down £400,000 for Ladapo which was bs yet cant find the money or anything near the money needed to tempt mason here. |

| I don't believe a feckin word of it, the club is just awash with disingenuous shite to fool the gullible punters.

Started and perpetuated by Mr Shyster in 2011 and likely to last as long as the leech and community Si remain in control |

| Saw this on twitter in response to the clubs tweet about the deal being off and it kind of proves our point there are some idiots who believe in this clubs poor running and that they are being competitive. i took off his name as i dont believe its right to out him on here if he isnt a member. Seeing as he follows the piggery and their piglets i highly doubt he does. any who here it is - some aviva wrote:

Not sure why some of our fans get annoyed at this. We saw an opportunity, made an affordable offer, did not want it - move on..... key word is affordable. What some L2 teams want to pay is irrelevant So it doesnt bother this guy if a league 2 club can out bid us? id be worried greatly as if league 2 clubs can attract the players we want and we are in a higher division how long will it be till the roles are reversed and we are struggling to even stay in league 2 AGAIN cause we wont invest in the football side of the club in order to compete at an professional level. |

| We could be languishing at the foot of the conference and some wankstains would still claim it as progress. |

| What these cretins are failing to understands is that if we're being outbid by league 1 or 2 clubs for Mason then it must surely follow that we're going to get outbid for other players because we aren't paying the market rate.
"Well perhaps we didn't feel Mason was worth it"??
In which case why admit making an offer in the first place? |

In which case why admit making an offer in the first place? Its these cretins Hugh that see the clusterfuck mark 2 is ambitious and fail to see tht the investment and money is going into the non football related shit and the football related stuff is a mix mash of making groups pay for it themselves or doing a blue peter job of rehashing old junk and passing it off as new if not smaller and looks the same in order to save money. Does this strike anyone really that the board have any interest in the football side of the club and just in their own private ventures. |

| CE: Is there anything you can tell us about the Joe Mason situation? DA: Yes, that’s not going to happen. He has got other offers from clubs in League One and League Two so we are not going to be able to do a deal there. CE: Is that because of finance? DA: His agent has spoken to me and said that he has got very good offers other than here. CE: How disappointing is that for you? DA: It’s not disappointing. We have obviously tried to sign him and take him in but we are never disappointed because we always just move on. CE: Are there any other options for you in terms of free agent signings? DA: Yes, there is, so that’s still a possibility. We are still looking in that avenue. CE: How important is that? DA: Not really. We have got good cover in all areas. We are lacking probably one more player to come into the squad. That would give us enough towards the end of the season.CE: So if you could find somebody, great, but it’s not the end of the world if you can’t? DA: No. We have good cover , but we are lacking one more player You realise how stupid you sound Derek right ? don't you ? |

| People can dress it up all they like but if we were out bid by a L2 side then owner/chairman and directors of PAFC are absolutely not fit for purpose and the club must be put up for sale now.

| God the clickbait live is desperate for clicks, But its okay I've got AdBlock installed,
Adams revealed that he was interested in making a move for the former Pilgrim and offered him a deal.
But Mason rejected the chance to return to Home Park and is instead eyeing up moves elsewhere.
So who now? Here is a look at some out of contract forwards.
1) Darren Bent As soon as you think of Darren Bent you automatically assume that he would be way out of Argyle's price range. He is so no chance,
2) Kaylen Hinds Big things were expected of striker Kaylen Hinds but his career is yet to live up to the hype.
At 21-years-old, Hinds could be just the type of striker Argyle are looking for.
He is a player that has potential and could be willing to bide his time on the bench after a spell out of the game.
After leaving Arsenal in 2017, Hinds signed for VfL Wolfsburg but his contract was terminated in September 2018 after he went awol.
A statement from the club at the time said: "Wolfsburg has parted with Kaylen Hinds,
"The club has reacted to the forward’s unauthorised absence of several weeks by terminating his contract with immediate effect.
"There is no longer a valid contract of employment between Hinds and VfL."
Hinds made just one appearance for the side and had been on loan at German second division side Greuther Furth earlier in the year.
Adams has been known to sign players who are down on their luck, career wise, and find a way to get something from them.
Given his recent history, there is no doubting a move could be a risk but it could be one worth taking.
He's played in the Bundesliga no chance
3) Nile Ranger Lets not even go into that, no chance, But We'e had Goodwillie here,
Gotta keep the clicks up eh Bhey's.... |

And if he didn't accept oxfords money we have no chance 27/11/18 Former Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger will not be joining Oxford United after failing to agree terms on a deal with the League One club. The 27-year-old has been without a club since leaving Southend in January and had been training with the U's. Ranger, who has also had spells at Swindon and Blackpool, was imprisoned for eight months for online banking fraud in May 2017. "Great club. Unfortunately we didn't agree on terms," he posted on Twitter. |

| Yep, can't wait to see what DA comes up with after his Jobcentre Plus ad. I wonder if it says "previous experience not essential but an advantage".
