Don't know where that came from but that was a much deserved win. Apart from the last fifteen minutes we were all over them like a cheap suit. Lameiras and Carey ran rings around Oxford and what a second goal from Ruben. A few more like that would do the trick. If Carey and Ruben are off this month then we are fecked

That was better,never looked like losing this one after getting an important first goal.First clean sheet since forever and it has to be said that Letheran did bring a more commanding presence which seemed to reflect right through the back four-Edwards and Smith-Brown,whose blocked shot set up the first goal for Sarcevic,had their best games for many a long day.Second came from a good ball from Freddie to Rooben,the third was an excellent solo breakaway goal from the self same.Rooben was up for this from the off today-fully committed,chasing everything down and unquestionably MOM.Maybe the cynical would say that he was playing to impress potential buyers but i hope not-if he maintains that standard and fulfils his talent,then he is an undoubted asset.Oxford were frankly unimpressive but still had to be beaten and one or two teams in lower mid table are starting to be dragged into the mire-if Argyle can maintain that solidity and add some quality to the squad then i think they have enough attacking flair to pull themselves a few places up the table.Not going to be easy though.

Ten thousand plus there today at the Portakabin stadium and DA cant take his superstars for a bit of warm weather training - just wondering if some of those ten thousand had the odd thought of where is the money going? scratch

Still no pay on the day option with 1800 empty seats in there today I find this ticket only policy madness and bizarre.

How can the club be so inflexible over this?

If the club outright refuses to let supporters pay money the very least they can do is put a little booth outside the Lyndhurst to save people walking half a mile to the ticket office, failing that that booth for guest ticket collections outside the Devonport, that could double up as a ticket vendor. Still wouldn't want to upset the corporate guests would we.

Great result and possibly even saved Adams' job that one.

Now we need to build on it and get a few quality players in to go with. Hopefully Hallett backs Adams in the transfer market.
