Eight bloody one! We could do a Barnstoneworth and bring back people like Tommy and Crudgie, couldn't do much worse. Lot of bleating about Doncaster's first goal being offside, but it wasn't-just saw it on SSN and clearly onside,Songoo and Macey both nutmegged at the near post. Argyle fought back quite well and equalised through a lovely left footed curler from Lameiras just before HT-if the old football maxims are to be believed, then the second half should have seen Argyle mounting an early assault but nothing of the sort materialised and in fact the opposite happened.Doncaster dominated and it was disturbingly inevitable that they would score, which they duly did twice to seal the game.Didn't see Carey's goal, had enough by that time and went home thoroughly pissed off and wondering exactly where a win is coming from for this team. Can't keep a clean sheet, don't look dangerous at potential match winning stages, all the hallmarks of a bad team. Shan't be there next week, playing golf instead unless the rain pisses down-hopefully the sun will shine as much as it did today. |

| Under Adams, Brent was able to get away with under-funding the team. But you can only 'puch above your weight' for so long. The League Two standard budget (befitting for a club with half the gates Argyle get) is now beginning to become apparent. Cream rises to the top, shite sinks to the bottom ! |

Similar not just to Sturrocks second administration but to quite a few others before it-good players sold off or lost over a certain period of time and replaced with bargain bucket junk with bad injury records or limited pedigree in the professional game-many ATD posters were dismissed as embittered pessimists for pointing out these truths in pre season but chickens are very much coming home to roost now.The really frightening aspect is that this is occuring at third division level now rather than the second division, which was always Argyle's ceiling previously-Mr Hallett also needs to recognise this reality rather than issuing trite statements about "community clubs" and the like. The best way of becoming a club which truly earns the respect of its public is to put out a decently competitive team on the pitch, which when all is said and done is the number one raison d'etre for any professional football club. |

| If you you put the dressing rooms near the most vocal fans than you must expect the good with the bad.

| Director of football, innit. There's probably a very big ceremonial hat somewhere. The changing room fiasco is another ludicrous decision of brent's that he's managed to hang around Adams' neck. Serve Adams right for going along with virtually everything. Adams is so stupid though, he's blaming the fans, the customers. Bad move Del. |

| What's the point of getting O'keefe in on loan when he can't get in the team even with ten out injured?
By my reckoning that makes him 22nd in the pecking order?
Oh, and if they don't replace Adams with a decent (ie not Wotton, Nancekivel, Coughlan Hodges K or L, Way etc) manager within a month, we'll be relegated-can't see us getting 48 points from 36 games.
How PAFC ever let Tisdale join MKD is beyond me. What's Russel Slade doing now? |

| Argyle had a centre forward several years ago who like Dyson, couldn't get a game, so they got rid of him
Anyone know what became of Ashley Barnes?
But then again, if you've two good strikers in your team, it isn't easy to decide who's the better one. Newport County had 2 good 'uns years ago, Argyle bought Tynan as they didn't fancy Aldridge |

Ain't that the truth Skinny. There will still people saying pre season it wouldn't matter if we lost Carey or Lamieris, same as it didn't matter when we lost, Hourihane, Nelson, Threlkeld and Bradley. Although funnily enough probably all these people would agree that we lack a midfield and the defence is shite. We couldn't afford to keep them appaza yet the cost of getting relegated now will be counted in how many thousands of fans turn it in and do something else on a Saturday. We have yet to be proved right on where Brent would ultimately take us but us pessimists will be proved right before too much longer. If Hallett is going to step up and save the club now would be a good time to break cover and reassure us disgruntled pigs. Lol. |

He knows the end is coming. Brent legacy will now include the fans having to pay off a fair wedge of his contract because of his stupidity to give him 5 years Speccytwat should be made to pay it out of his own money. |

We'll soon find out if SH has what it takes. Going by his words to date, I can't see it but you never know.
ps Fed up being asked by acquaintances how Argyle are getting on this year. Stock answer...'Still being run by wolves, for sheep'. |

Assuming of course he has money, lm doubtful. Potless in my opinion. He's been very clever with his 47 (make that 48 with Saltrock) LTD Company crashes, liquidations and bankruptcies but if he displays the same speccy stupidity with his own cash almost certainly not a pot to piss in. I'd wager whatever property he does own is mortaged to the hilt... |
