Where is our report from last night meeting. Did BBC1 buy his cornish mate Ian a drink?

Taken from Plymouth Argyle Cornish Supporters Association facebook
Thanks to the 50 people (approx.) who made the wet and windy journey to Launceston Football Club tonight for our evening with Derek Adams. He was on good form and someone said to me afterwards that it was Derek's best of the four events he has done with us since he joined PAFC.
There's not enough time over the next few days to give a full summary (work, travel and Argyle at Charlton will keep me busy), but here are a few points Derek made tonight:
Argyle are currently training at Plymouth Albion.
Finances currently prevent Argyle joining a professional reserve team league, but they will try do so in the future.
Could not have hosted a home friendly this summer due to building works and the pitch not being ready. May have to change for next summer. Away friendlies would involve more travelling and cost.
Derek's budget not in the top half of League 1. Increase in budget partly eaten up by increased costs of improved new contracts for players.
Considered moving dugouts to Lyndhurst side but not practical as about 300 fans would have to move to different seats.
Derek did not visit Home Park until after he was appointed. He has not always shown players Home Park before they sign as some areas needed improvement, which may be small, but also costly.
James Brent has looked after our club for the last seven years. Hasn't spent more that club can afford. Expects this to continue under Simon Hallett.
Thanks again to all involved tonight, particularly Derek Adams.

Budget, state of the ground, austerity, reserve league costs, friendly travel costs, I fully expect this chap to have log on problems on the farm talking in that manner...

Bad news on the hallett front, but the continuing austerity thing has already been mentioned by the guy himself. Adams sounds like the squire's handyman, agrees with everything down to the last shilling. No wonder he and brent get on. Below is a recording of brent's last meeting with Del

I'll judge Hallett once the Brentmare is over and he's finally relinquished his death grip over the club. The early signs from Hallett in casting out the money changers from the temple are something to work with.

Even though DA himself says we have a bottom half budget the PASOTI view will still be nobody knows what the budget is and still expect us to get promoted. They also think that in about two years time we will be having an additional couple of million in income from the extra few groups of mates going corporate and having a pasty and pint for spending a load of cash sponsoring the game. Having to get a bus to get to the ground. And of course every business in the South West will be falling all over each other in the scramble to hold conferences at Home Park. Deluded springs to mind

Lets hope the noises coming out of the new ownership regime after 1st Nov are indeed more positive, at the risk of sounding like a PASHITTI cretin, I have long thought Derek is a yes man, and he indeed continues to gush his praise of the land grabbing shyster, as at this meeting. Maybe he has reason to, who knows, we will see.

Except the club does know how the budget stacks up against the rest of the Division and its not good.

Unless Hallett reverses virtually everything financially once Brent is kicked out of the hot seat than this club is in a death spiral its just simply imploding This unbelievably farce of having changing rooms beside the road is so ludicrous its not even funny and as for having to get a bus to the Brickfields for a shower its making you wonder if we've entered a parallel universe

Thing is, it isn’t though. If you are paying shite wages, but still get up towards 10,000 attendances, the business model is far from imploding. On the contrary, it’ll turn a nice tidy profit.
I’ve written this season off as anything other than transition. Hopefully Brent will enjoy seeing his personal bank balance boosted by his shares offload, and he’ll decide to cash in his last 30%.
Then we can clearly judge the new power brokers.

What would be the point of Si, sinking eight million into the club if he's going to run it like the Bucket Rattlers? If he runs its like the Brentmare he can shove it, i wont be going once a year anymore!

Call me a cynical old bastard...there’s a motive behind this be it good or bad me just can’t put me finger on it yet could it be a case of the same faces but a different on the rent book and proceed pretty much the same as under Brent as some of the quotes I’ve seen coming from Hallett & Felwick will just have to see what goes down in November maybe we’re see what there proper intent is then But me personality im still sceptical of halletts motives...will just have to see how it goes down that’s all we can do...until then

Waste of time asking any questions. Clearly we have fallen behind in the scoffing station stakes. The world is going to flip as soon as the extra corp serviettes get laid out underneath the revamp. It's going to be huge. Our future lies in the fat getting fatter. I want to volunteer to wait table on match day, do my bit for the cause.

I see Billy no mates the fighting Cornishman has broken his silence. He went to the meeting with Dunlop and Nikk, bit of charity work and some leg shagging, his sort of evening. Wanker. Reckon a blow up could be coming, low depression heading for Plympton, he will be wielding the ban hammer imminently, Brent all but gone, filthy Webbsite gone, AAA pass gone as well as all respect of everybody on the forum he bought. Batten down the hatches.

we can only judge Si on what he does, not on what JB has not. I am sure Si will not be supporting his "Empire" on the back of Argyle.

No has ever explained where the money goes and why we end up with a squad of useless fourth division donkeys, we should be signing quality and paying the going rate for wages instead we sign rejects from smaller clubs on no doubt shit money. Roll on liberation day!

Most of the 'players' would seriously struggle to get into any L2 or National league prem side. There can be no turn around this season with the truly diabolical state of the squad so we have to endure the unendurable of relegation back to the basement for at least next season. Big clear out of all brent's useless crap in the summer and start rebuilding again with some proper L2 standard players. It's shit but that's the reality of how the scheming, property speculating shyster has left us.

Jimmys Legacy....
Tragic Squad the worse in my 50 years of support Most boring football in 50 years Players only signed if confirmed injured One dimensional manager 3 sides to the ground falling to bits with multicoloured seats 1 side in ruins Dressing rooms being built by a road Players bussed to brickfields for a shower Bombsite at HHP Portacabins cobbled together as some sort of club shop Tardis overlooking pitch Bobbys garden regenerating Police Officer being employed as Project managers No planning permission signed off Club starved of funds by the shyster owner
....but never mind Pasoti want to build a statue of the twat responsible
