I seem to remember it was 0.07p in the pound. Yes it depends how its expressed. It was actually 0.7 of 1p. The pitch was £505,000 and the installers eventually got £3,500 and change |

| That’s even worse then. That’s 0.007p in the pound. What a shyster he is. 0.7p isn’t too far off break even. |

| If one puts on ones Akkeron rose tinted spectacles, available shortly from the soon to be built, subject to planning and brick availability, Akkeron Superstore, that's a feckin good return. _______________________________________ COYG!

| Actually the .0077 was reduced in the end. It ended up being 0.0022.
The percentage was nominal and minimal really. It amounted to £100,000 spread across the £13m or so unsecured debt but the 100k was subsequently reduced to the creditors, although paid in full by Brent, because unpaid bills from before the CVA took precedence and it finalised at about 0.0022.
It's always tricky to get sense of very big and very small numbers so it is easier, maybe, to consider the 0.0022 payment as a mixture of fractions and percentages. It was about 1/13% (one thirteenth of one percent) so that's divide what was owed by 100 and then again by 13 to get what was due.
The return was so small that many didn't bother to claim it. |

| The PASOTI response to Brent slinging his hook is making me feel sick. It's like having a conversation about David Ickes football career and not mentioning the fact that hes now a raving lunatic. Not one person mentioning how Brent will walk away with his pockets full of wonga and we are now having a revamp of the grandstand that is in the form of a loan costing the club millions and not the brand new grandstand we were promised at no cost to the club. This from PASOTI shows Brent in his true colours and yet they all still line up like terriers waiting for there chance to shag his leg. "Would you have still bought the club if there wasn't the opportunity to own the surrounding land?" "Yes but not on the same terms" Cheerio Brent [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

The sycophancy is sickening. I never got too exercised about Brent because he largely operated in the way he said he would, albeit without delivering what he said he could - at least in bricks and mortar terms. I’m glad he’s gone because i don’t want his sort in long-term control of my football club but we are, at least, in a healthier position than 2011, with a capable management team in place. The baton has also been passed to someone with seemingly more clout and who has made a great first move in looking to re-acquire HHP - or most of it - for the club. These factors, being generous, constitute Brent’s legacy. The spilling of rhetoric about naming stands after him and the virtual bowing taking place on Pasoti are laughable. Can they not see his play was always about an exit strategy marked by profit from Day 1? It’s written down in plain English! |

| He's obviously got enough money to finally build his ice shed with the 20% sell off of his shares but still retains 30% which will stand him in for a mill or two down the line. He got what he wanted. |

| Maybe he could sell the land and get someone else to build his ice shed. |

| Brent’s ultimate profit targets rest at Millbay, not HHP. As we all know the first step in opening that particular profit avenue is he has to somehow provide ‘continuous ice’.
But even then he’s such a small-time operator, he’s got the next massive hurdle to negotiate. Back towards the start of the year when part of the area around the car park by Bath St was being cleared, Brent was openly and publicly canvassing in the Herald for ‘partners’ to get the Millbay project off the ground. In the grand scheme of things he hasn’t a cat in hells chance of financing it. It will be someone else’s money that will be relied upon to take that project forward - as is ALWAYS the Brent way. NEVER risking his own money.
It’s a massive positive step for PAFC to have finally ousted him as majority shareholder. But there will still be a relatively pungent stench while he still sits on his 30%. We can only hope that this is the first stage of an exit strategy that’s see’s him gone entirely before too long, albeit carrying his nicely stashed millions with him from his oh so reluctant PAFC involvement. If Hallett moves in different circles ie of those willing to invest in a football club, surely he could help Bent move on some of that 30%. |

| Interesting thing on the farm regarding Felwick it was pointed out he only left the board last October with Jones when Brent wanted the fresh faces in. Now less than a year later he's back as Chairman. Wonder if the power struggle started back then? Wonder of that is where the leaks were coming from? |

| The reason for them both going is common knowledge, isn't it?
And even if you had no idea if you could stuck it all on a timeline you could probably piece it together without too much difficulty. |

Wonder of that is where the leaks were coming from? Me thinks you could be on to something there Ears. I don't think Jimmy will be around long and his 30% will soon be sold. |

| Does this mean Brent's Babes might be asked to leave the building ?
Anyway, who remembers brent saying he wasn't going to have walleted directors ? Should have kept to his plan LOL. What a disaster the guy is. PCC must now be looking at their Pavilions/Millbay/ice thing and holding their Oldway heads in horror. What was it Evans once said ? ... Plymouth is lucky to have someone like Brent investing in the city. Dear oh dear oh dear. I assume the messy leaving is bound up with getting planning approval for Hallett's downgrade for the mankover and with it the approval to change the situation of the ice rink which would enable PAFC to buy back what's left of HHP. For now, Brent has the minimum required to stop special resolutions, but it would appear there's no point him hanging around once the deals have been done. The next planning application/amendment is going to be fascinating. |

Wait till the land grabbing shyster, knocks up his gash ice shed, slithers away from Argo and cashs in on millions from land sales on his £1 Pavillions gift, courtesy of PCC. The eternally grateful will probably be queuing up to congratulate him on his entrepreneurial skills - the thicko Janners love being mugged off or so it seems. |
