Ah back in the days where James Brent was going to supply a brand new grandstand and the finest corporate facilities that were going to generate in excess of £1 million per year lol

What a load bollocks that’s just showing empty rooms with basically F#%K happening hence the nice bit of editing when the cut to the view of the ground comedy gold but the avivas will lap up this kind of shit all day long lol

The end of an era. The shyster outed for being the lying fraud he is and the old pensoner later in the clip consigned to the naughty step. All we need now is Chris Webb to be unceremoniously kicked outa the club....Ohhh wait
Next stop Space Cadat De Liar and Lee "I'll squeak louder than you" Jameson.

A complete shit tip almost a year after planning application.
Thank you James
It may be only 4 blocks long but at least their band new stand built from scratch is finished, site cleared, and ready to be opened - I wager pretty much bang on schedule. That's what happens when a project is properly and professionally managed. Unlike the clueless, hapless, rank amateurism courtesy of brent and Akkeron.

It may be a good exercise for the happy clappy Brentists to compare this project to the Barr stadium when that was built. I'm pretty sure it was built in the closed season and opened in time for the new one. There is no way it was built by a crew of about six builders. It's a FOOKIN embarresment foreshore. Just checked Wiki it actually was started in August 2001 and was completed in February 2002. Six months start to finish.

They have already put a roof over it in less then 3 months. 3 months to do something Argyle have talked about for 3 or 4 years.

Still as long as the Senior Greens have the Aviva shitfest in the new members club who gives a damn if Home Park remains a shit tip.
Wake me up when this nightmare is over.

Dont forget the council are currently bending over backwards to allow the club to transfer ongoing work to "enablement" because they are still sat without planning permission signed off Pity the Council didnt stick to the letter of the application doubtless the shyster Brent threatened them over something

If I remember correctly the Barr build commenced almost immediately after the last game of the previous season (a Tuesday evening game against Southend at the arse end of April) with the first phase (Devonport & Barn Park ends) operational for the Boxing Day game against Torquay.
The whole lot was up and running for the Mansfield match in early February. I make that ten months max. From start to finish.
Does anyone seriously believe the crapshack will be completed in a similar time scale. They've got four months tops...

No.....they are still without planning. They cant "build" anything only destruct. They got special dispensation to put the portacabins in for the shop and them alone. As Earwig says they got 6 men tops working on the whole development. They dont need planning for dressing rooms as "temporary"

Exeter's stand also has a proper roof that actually covers the seating area. The manked over Mayflower is going to look ludicrous with that tiny little roof on it. Not to mention fans paying good money to sit in the lower Mayflower getting piss wet through. Brentophiles have justified the totally inadequate roof by saying it keeps the 'Leach' look but the Mayflower is not actually a Leach stand at all.
Brent - you're fired

They will have to speed up.
The temporary changing rooms can only be in place for 28 days without planning permission, which they haven't applied for. Sure the project manager has it all in hand.

Bungo back couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.
Only at Argyle would somebody with zero experience as a project manager be given the job
Bet Brent thought he'd be a slashing, sorry smashing appointment.

It's like one of those tasks on the apprentice when one of the constants is in way over their head as project manager and fails the week's task and when they are brought to lord sugar they blame everything and anyone for their failings.
only difference is of course lord sugar fires them not promotes them.

28 days lol Fait accompli the temporary dressing rooms become semi permanent and Brent threatens the council in his usual MO when they rightly kick off

All being orchestrated to coincide with the "takeover" and "conditional" buy back of HHP ? Makes you wonder what games these people are playing, or is it just rank amateurism ..... or both. Nothing and no one that is involved with this Brent character is to be trusted. The council have been warned enough times
