Argyle are matching up to Bideford 4-4-2 formation. Joel Grant is up front with Calum Dyson,

Joel Grant breaks the deadlock in the 16th minute with an excellent finish past Bideford ‘keeper Steve Oliver.

That’s three goals in pre-season for the former Exeter City attacker.

Ryan Edwards puts the Pilgrims 2-0 up

Gregg Wylde gets a third goal for Argyle

The attendance for tonight game is 585

Poor second half

Argyle took their foot off the pedal after half-time and became far too sloppy.

There was a brief Q & A with Adams before the match, in which he mentioned the budget being slightly better but proportionaly identical to last season, however he won't know for sure until October when the figures are published.

So the fact we had one of the lowest budgets in the division was known because figures are made available to all clubs.
