| Well, that was an embarrassing scoreline, even if it were a PSF. |

| Akkeron Austerity Portakabin Argo are less fancied for the drop than I thought at 13/2 still that might change.

| Adams tactics already being questioned with the fake yank leading the charge. We've just been beaten 5 1 by a team a league below us but it's Adams tactics and the punishing level of preseason training he put them through. Don't Yovo do training as well? Lots of people saying it was shite defending and lack of pace at the back, well lack of pace has fook all to do with tactics. |

Was saying that all game we had no plan b and plan a was rubbish, Grant is not a target man so why put balls in for him to head, that and we left too much space at the back for yeovil to run into and the back passing when we could have created chances wtf was that all about |

| Derek Adams gives his verdict on 5-1 defeat Our defending was abysmal and the will to try to score a goal wasn’t good enough either. I think we should take all the blame in the result today and not give Yeovil too much credit because we were really, really poor
Can we have our £6 back then ? |

| My ratings Kyle Letheren 3 let some poor shots in but didn't get much help from infront of him,
Joe Riley 5 an improvement on what we had before but not the greatest day today Ryan Edwards 5 Scott Wootton 5 Gary Sawyer 3 Slower then ever caught out of position, Wasn't exactly the leader a captain should be Conor Grant 5 looks promising David Fox 5 Jamie Ness 5 Graham Carey 6 Joel Grant 6 Got a goal did well trying to be a 6ft4 target man Ruben Lameiras 6 tried to create one of the brighter sparks
Subs Harry Burgoyne 5 Canavan 5 Ashley Smith-Brown 5 Yann Songo’o 5 Lionel Ainsworth 6 tried to create and get into space Calum Dyson 5 didn't have the service needed to make a mark Tafari Moore 5 looks promising not enough time to make more of an impact
First half was bad but second was like 11 strangers on the pitch, more gelling is needed. I'm concerned but I think it can be dealt with |

| Agree Reg, ten in, some of the recruits look low on quality, hope Derek has plenty of magic dust on hand because he will need it this season. In all truth we are reliant on just a few players to win games, Taylor, Carey, lameris still we always have Wylde in reserve |

| pre season games should present different standards of tests as it goes along ending hopefully with higher level team.
you dont learn anything from playing pub teams 3 weeks into pre season and if yeovil can open us up this badly and its not like we had a youth team out there then del has alot of wok to do before the season starts.
But to be honest when you continually keep having high levels of incomings and outgoings every season then building squad harmony and cohesion starts from scratch again and it takes longer to build when teams arent given challenges to work to overcome.

It is not possible there are three worse teams than brent's austerity akkeron in League One. Enjoy watching akkeron nil fc getting walloped every other week in a decrepit, dilapidated, crumbling three sided 'stadium'. Glad I'm giving this season a miss. BRENT OUT NOW!!!! |

| Well we all know what happened last season with the poor start, all well and good getting those ten in but they have to play as a team, however there was some good link up play at the Torquay game. Derek said before the Glovers trouncing that he was close to knowing his opening game line up. He may need to rethink that. Letheren looks particularly rusty and all the indicators are that Sawyer is playing a season too long. |

| I don't think we have replaced what we have lost with lower quality, it just looks it cause the system we play leaves so much space and rips us apart .
Sawyer I've been saying for a while was slow yet he was being used as a wing back and couldn't track back quick enough, Carey had to save him a couple times sprinting back from up front.
If we stick with the system we have and have no back up plan this could be a long season |

Judging by many comments on different forums we are a great deal weaker than last season Striker Ryan Taylor could get his first game-time of pre-season for Plymouth Argyle during their Dutch training camp this week. Taylor has returned to training after being ruled out by an ankle injury which first troubled him last term. Manager Derek Adams has revealed that Argyle will play three, not two, games while they are in the Netherlands. Fixtures against German part-timers SV Schermbeck on Tuesday and Dutch second division side MVV Maastricht on Friday had already been finalised. Now Adams has confirmed that the Pilgrims will play a third match while they are away. Adams told Plymouth Live: “Ryan Taylor is coming along well. He has started to blend himself into full-time training with the squad. “So we will step that up next week. Sarcevic is a week behind him so when we come back from Holland he will join in with the squad as well.” When asked whether Taylor could be involved in any of the game while Argyle are away in the Netherlands, Adams replied: “That’s a possibility. |

| Everybody can bang on about tactics all they like the fact is we were beaten by a league 2 team convincingly with our strongest squad bar Taylor and Sarcs on the bench. Sound familiar? Sounds Ike last season to me where we are expecting Taylor to provide all the firepower. We never had a player on the bench last season who could change a game and nothing has happened to change that. In my opinion the squad in fact the first team is just not strong enough to compete. I doubt we will get relegated but I'd be amazed if we finshed as high as last year. |

Taylor and Sarcs will only manage twenty games a season each both Injury prone, the new Poundland intake look gash so i think its sustainable relegation for the fifth best supported club in the league, the Brentmare goes on. |
