Not a bad result actually, let's hope that Harvey comes good this year and we keep hold of him in January.

Harvey looks like he could be a player, let hope when we sell him which we will, brent gets a decent price for him.

This pre-season has shown we're still a bottom 2 side

I rekon we are only a striker midfielder and centre half away from being average.

Really 1-1 against MK Dons and losing 2-1 to Yeovil in what was a tight game?

Looking at the way Argyle played in those two games id say we will be Mid-table. Didnt deserve to lose today, First goal was against the run of play and the second pure quality but Argyle had a hell of alot of the game and alot of shots especially in the first half. a draw would have been a fair result.

The only thing im worried about is lack of goals, its took a 16 year old and 17 year old to hit the net in the last 2 games. Morgan looks a snip, Reid, well i cant find the words.

Even from your own description it's as if nothing has changed?

And if you can't score...  You can't win.

I was prepared to give Reid the benefit of the doubt but it doesn't sound like he's going to be firing in the goals that Morgan creates.

With Lecointe out for the season it only leaves Vassell and Tyler Harvey, who might have to play more than he should at his age.

Chadwick's going nowhere, had an op which also rules him out for a while, which might improve his strike rate.

Unless the midfield score hatfuls it could be another season of not many goals so the defence will need to be bloody good.

Wait, we were a bottom two side last season? I thought we didn't go down? Arguments are always stronger with facts not propaganda.

if they were league results that would equal 23 points for the season. freathy is spot on as usual.

You can't read a great deal in to things regarding friendlies, but what i have seen gives me some hope for next season..

I don't see Argyle battling in the relegation spots for the entire season,so that will be a bonus ?..

I thought Yeovil Town were nothing special [although i thought they looked much fitter than Argyle today] and i still tip them for relegation from the Championship come May '14.

So after releasing a statement announcing the signing of Blackman, they club say actually he has yet to sign.
The joke of a club that keeps on giving.

1) They aren't, they're played differently and at a different tempo
2) We won't be playing MK Dons or Yeovil

Made me laugh when the Argyle twitter feed announced it as a 'good turnout'...Laughing

One brother said they were dire.

One friend said they were ok.

Given our last 6 seasons of crap, I don't detect enough difference to suggest we're suddenly about to hit an upsurge in fortunes.

Still, this league IS shit.
