| Didn't realise you were a lotty person too Akers. The club could put their shop caravan on my plots and it wouldn't sink a millimeter. Plymouth has struck lucky today already, with a nice finger of heavy stuff heading our way, fingers crossed. Might be more Ashurton though. It's been Jean De Florette up on our plots, water wors with PCC. |

| My garden is proper wet now I even put a fork in and the rain had seeped right down full depth of fork, proper rain. The farmers will be pleased as they all cut for hay silage and the fields were just browning off under the sun. The lettuce shortage may well be over as well, I noticed in the poly tunnel all my lettuces stopped growing last week. Feckin millions of slugs out though.

I'm not entirely convinced that you're in the right place, old chap.

You're lucky. I gave it the fork test. Two inches deep and drying already. Only good for late season seedlings. That's it now for another few weeks. We have a stand off with the council, sort of related to the Brent drainage thing. They were given funding for an extra new water supply but it sort of just disappeared. I noticed the new signs on Alma road stating 9 million to be invested in "Our park". Funny that, it was an 11 million grant back last year. Wonder what happened there then. Bet Hopwood is busy earning his crust |
