Freed Celtic striker Nadir Ciftci is in line for return home after newly-promoted Turkish side Erzurumspor offered him a deal.
The 26-year-old was released a year early from his Celtic contract last week after a disastrous spell at Parkhead.
Scottish clubs have been credited with an interest in the former Dundee United and Motherwell forward.
But ambitious Erzurumspor have offered him a deal as they prepare for their first ever season in the Turkish Super League.
The club from Eastern Turkey were only formed 13 years ago and have battled their way up through to the regional leagues.
