| So what's changed re 'weapons of mass destruction' i,e flag poles, bottle caps and other potential deadly weapons?
That's not a dig at the efforts to visually improve the atmosphere and general upbeat of fans at home games, I applaud that, but, not so long ago there was no way they would let people take flags 'with poles' into HP!

- Nice looking flags, well done for trying to improve the atmosphere at Home Park.
The problem being, mainly, is that some wanky little flags add nothing to the atmosphere. The case in point - Oxford United. About 50 flags waving araind in their "home end" - and not a peep from the little toff rascals! Bizarre. You'd be better off putting the cost of the flags towards subsidising booze in the graind, and using the energy that you're currently dispensing in your little flag-tossing existence, towards hurling handfuls of sharpened coins inter the barn park end, with considerable gusto and no mercy. |

Point well made Mockers... Except, I never like to throw money away, so I suggest singing more and generally being vocal and abusive toward the BP end while "roaring" the team onto victory! Argyle when playing, don't stop, look and admire the flags in the crowd, but they do subconsciously respond to encouraging chanting... So spend your money on booze, get well tanked up and then cheer the team on! Win, Win... |

| Are the flags waving all of the game. I thought when the game started at Oxford the flags came down. who would stand behind 60 waving flags all match, you would not see much of the play. Health and Safety will come in to this. |

| Problem is if I go to a football match I'm there to watch the football not sit there waving a flag.
Not knocking the idea or the desire to create an atmosphere at the ground but it may be better off focussed in certain areas of the ground where there is already some kind of atmosphere, block 3 for example. |

| We were thinking blocks 3 and 4 to begin with, and maybe involve the families area too. |

Sounds a good plan. Definitely the family area, the kids would love waving the flags about. |

Will you be handing them out to the new directors box near Zoo corner? |

Flag waving or not, Jimmy is being allowed to get away whatever he wants, by a compliant PCC, a compliant Trust, and a largely compliant fanbase. Make him, and the public more aware that not everyone thinks he's the saviour of us all. Wave red cards in the direction of the Directors Box, not flags. That said, it is too easy these days to get everything wrapped up together at Home Park. Not all is shite, we have a decent manager, a half decent group of players (notwithstanding who's arriving shortly), and the football has been half decent at times. That should be applauded and supported and if kids can wave flags so much the better. When you think the success on the pitch has been achieved in spite of Brent not because of him, you do wonder how far we could go with a supportive, club loving, football supporting Chairman - with a bit of dosh! |

So challenge him. I would recommend challenging him with a counter flag protest. |

So challenge him. I have and will continue to challenge him but some fans don’t think like yourself don’t think it’s importent to stand up and be counted when saying nothing and waving Flags seems more important Or just don’t care there being F#%Ked over I take it you won’t be putting your head above the parapit then |
