Incoming in around 10 days

Derek Adams has revealed Plymouth Argyle have agreements in place to bring new players to Home Park.

The Pilgrims’ boss has yet to make any additions to his squad ahead of the 2018/19 League One campaign but he is confident that will soon change.

Adams told Plymouth Live: “We have got a lot of priorities over the summer and we are well down the route of trying to get new players in for next season. We are in a good place.

“Hopefully over the next 10 days or so we will have a good possibility of signing players.

“We have agreements in place. We have got players that have to go through medicals and then we will take it from there.”

Will that be on the lines of the "Simon Church" medical ?

Dear oh dear, how can anyone take any Adams/Brent/Hallett utterance seriously. And I suspect they don't mean it seriously either. It's just a hurdle of the day. The object not to honestly inform, but to stonewall.

Or this missive will be seen as proof of how our club is going to prove us doubters wrong. I expect one signing to get the sheeple wet then the usual castoffs I just cannot see how full rebuilds can carry on bearing fruit.

Kind of strange how you've now put DA in the same basket as JB and SH? I believe there are still about 12 Lge 1 clubs who haven't signed players yet so whats the panic. It was the same last season and the previous season and we did OK. Have faith in DA.

Not strange at all. I see Adams as a Brent apologist, as of course is Hallett. They are representing the same policy, the same course.
You, as always, are happy with whoever is up in the wheelhouse with a stripe or two. I see your blind faith in the cap'n as a drummed in navy thing, but maybe it goes even deeper.

I'm neither a JB supporter or hater. JB is in command and unless someone takes over or there is a mutiny then I can do little apart from continue to support my team. When I was a cap'n (and that may surprise you) I always listened to my team and it worked. It's a team thing and I think/hope that DA and JB have a good working relationship. We have improved season on season for 7 years now?

incomings in around 10 days preceded by outgoings for around 10 days first no doubt. Bradley and Fox look destined to be signing for other clubs and none of the others seem keen to have signed their deals before they went off on their breaks.

First signing needs to be a decent Doctor whose gunna be taking these stringent medicals then lol
