Big pressure on Kane if we're to do anything really. Never know, we've had squads full of so-called stars in the past who've flattered to deceive. Maybe these Joe Soapers will spring a surprise. |

Never know, we've had squads full of so-called stars in the past who've flattered to deceive. Maybe these Joe Soapers will spring a surprise. The old we're so shit we might be quite good argument. At least we'll see whether Harry Kane is the world beater that Spurs and more emphatically his PR advisors are making him out to be, his descent rfom decent bloke into precious arsehole has been amusing to watch. Speaking of which, I see Joe Harts 'people' have been briefing the tabloids that David Moyes is to blame due to his decision to drop him for the last 3 games of the season. Because David Moyes job is primarily to ensure Joe Hart goes to the Wolrd Cup, not win games. The fact that Hart has been utter cack for the last 3 years is completely beside the point |

| If he can accomodate Vardy and Kane up front with Sterling and Deli Ali providing the ammunition theres enough firepower there to blow any team away. Henderson and Dier absolute cack the pair of them and I'm a Spurs fan |

Getting out of a group that includes Panama and Tunisia ought, OUGHT to be a formality. After that it's a bit of a lottery. |

| we ill be lucky to get past round 2. This squad is so weak but naturally the fa will blame the football league for the lack of english talent rather than go to the source of the poblem the premiership teams. |

Henderson and Dier absolute cack the pair of them and I'm a Spurs fan He won't play them both upfront together, Vardy will be used as an impact sub. I reckon the line up against tunisia will be Pickford Stones Cahill Jones Walker Dier Henderson Trippier lingard Sterling Kane |

| I cant think of one player not in the squad who should be in it though so its the best weve got. Oxlaid and Lalana if they were fit maybe? Should still get through the group but I reckon Belgium will outclass us so it will be 2nd spot at best and that could mean playing a top side in the knock out stage and it will be all over. The only good news is our youth sides are doing really well so there is some talent coming through |

Welcome big Robby, Oxlade would have been a definite, the nearest to him is um Welbeck Not much midfield guile in there, Would have like to have seen a left field choice like Shelvey just to offer another option. |

I would have taken JonJo myself. the Defence for me is so average it will be exposed against teams that like to attack. 3 goalies and 2 of them have been involved in relegation scraps all season and let in a crazy amount of goals. Pope at least has earnt his call up in my eyes |

| I'd have taken Shelvey or Wilshere, can't see the value of having Delph other than he's versatile. None of the selected midfielders are great passers and you do need that to unlock the good teams. At least Livermore didn't make it. |

| Going back to when England had a real talent base, Ray Wilson passed away today. Excellent left back in the 1966 team, unfortunately remembered as much for his bad header which gave Haller the chance to score in the final as his great performances over a long period, would have walked into the current team. Very successful at club level for Everton as well.
RIP Ray |

It’s not nearly as depraved and vile as you’d think. As for the popcorn... https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=popcorn%20moment Most ATD popcorn moments refer to people making cocks of themselves on another Forum. |

| I'd be playing this side if all fit
Keeper
Walker Rose
Another Another
Henderson Dier
Ali Sterling Vardy
Kane
Despite picking Henderson and Dier personally dont like them but Southgate clearly does That front four can blow away any defence |

| I like Southgate, he's an intelligent articulate guy, agree with the attack comments, but obviously we could leak goals up against the stronger teams (the usual ones). Agree with Hart and Wilshire not going, Shelvey could have been good, Delph selection is uninspired. The group stage will be tricky. |

3 goalies and 2 of them have been involved in relegation scraps all season and let in a crazy amount of goals. Pope at least has earnt his call up in my eyes WHich two? Butland was relegated although the number of saves he made (142) was the highest in the league. Pope and Pickford played for teams who finished 7th & 8yj. The big problem for me is the defence with Stones (now 4th choice CB at Man City, Cahill who despite a recent run of form has been exposed with JT alongside him and Jones who isnt a particularly easy on the eye either |

Despite picking Henderson and Dier personally dont like them but Southgate clearly does That front four can blow away any defence Alli has had a mediocre season, Lingard will start ahead of him. Southgate won't start Vardy in the team as Kane |

| I must admit to looking forward to the World Cup. Not expecting too much from England TBH. But looking forward to watching the tournament unfold with my lad, who's now into his football just like I was at his age. We are setting up our DRF World Cup HQ in his bedroom, with flags, wallcharts, snacks, drinks etc. Should be fun. |
