I'm sure the refurb will get done, with Pa Hallett paying for it Brent would have to even worse than the worse to not complete that. What isn't in doubt is the delay. It's delayed by the joint planning application as we warned it would be.

The club are paying, not Hallett or Brent. My take is it will go ahead but this is one of the stages where negotiations with the council are equally as important to the club owners as any haggling with contractors. Brent can save a lot of his ice rinks 'family money' by negotiating now. Following a similar pattern to Oldway with the rink playing the part of the manor house. What a creep.

Indeed, the odious fat creep, has turned the ploy of not paying for anything into an art form, we can only hope that the new political arrangements in P.C.C means they will not get taken in again by talk of ice rink (shed) developments and all the benefits to the good people of Plymouth.

Whats pisses me off with these feckwits is that this country is not some sort of banana republic we all go to school here but these twats are just incapable of even engaging that 1st gear and thinking for themselves.

I think you can extend that argument to the wider issues in Plymouth rather than just the machinations of a third tier football club Harve.
The city is putting up more and more corporate led commercial crap building, the city has one of the worst gp services in the country, obesity rates are soaring, Plymouth schoolkids endure some of the worst polution levels in the UK, wages are nationally low, housing waiting lists huge, employment prospects limited and so on.
And yet the attitude is one of 'that's the way it is' which is a macrocosm of the parochial attitude at Home Park an ideal opportunity for someone like Brent to exploit - the consequence a relatively unsuccessful football club with huge potential.

If anybody has an account on the farm can you please refrain from talking about the planning, the building work, the lack of building work, the timescale of the building work and the refurb in general. Basically you can talk about the new kit, players, but not the ones that are leaving obvs. Any arse licking of Nool and Jimmy is encouraged but no discussion.
