of course hes not going anywhere till its done as this is his payday. He will be in for a shock if he thinks all of his ventures are going to turn a profit though cause that aint happening and thats basic ecomonics. |

| Careful Reg, you'll have the ire of Rickler raining down on you, defending his beau. In Rickler's eyes Hallett is "bright, funny and intelligent", and we're lucky to have him on board. All a bit reminiscent of "I won't hear a bad word about that man and his lovely family".
On the subject of community Si, we've all been handed down the tablets of truth that 3% is a good deal for PAFC. How come I can only get 2% at most, not secured on any land whatsoever, it's not lending to myself, and that's a fixed rate for 5 years when who knows what's going to happen!! |

| I find it difficult to get too het up about Hallet. He isn’t a Brent clone.
In the simplest of terms, he’s a Plymothian (that counts for summat with me) who has become a director and shareholder, and is financing the refurb. He may gain in the long term. But what sets him aside meteorically from Brent, is that Brent wouldn’t personally finance a packet of chocolate biscuits to go with the halftime tea in the Boardroom. I’ve always looked favourably on Wrathall for the very same reason that he was willing to go into his own pocket on more than one occasion.
There will always be mistrust and to a large degree jealousy of a successful person, by some people.
For me, Hallett hasn’t demonstrably done anything to deem worthy of being bracketed with Brent. |

| 1..... leave out the jealousy thing please, it's bulk standard lazy and really isn't worthy 2..... Todd saw himself as a young Plymouthian Argyle fan, and of course, let's not forget Stapes. 3.....I can't think of any action, apart from being married, to demonstrate a greater "bracketing", than being an almost halfy halfy "partner" in a limited company business at no small amount of money. If you don't think that's an endorsement of Brent and what he's all about, I worry for your judgement. It's classic good cop bad cop stuff wisting. If anything, it could be argued Brent took a bigger risk than Plynmouthian Hallett ever thought of at the time, when he took on underwriting a shed load of debt, along with PCC. |

| With Brent, the potential rewards faaaaaaaar outweighed any risk. The historically low position Argyle were in, the 'starting point' if you like, meant that even with a tentative business model Argyle can (and evidently would) comfortably rise organically to the level we are currently at, increasing basic core value of the business. With all the Council help, Brent wasn't exposed financially to any great degree.
And tbh for me, bracketing Brent and Hallett as one and the same couldn't be a clearer definition of 'bulk standard lazy'.
I haven't personally met either, but I've seen both speak publicly on numerous occasions. The vibe I get from one is very very different to the other. |

| Good luck with your vibes. Pinky and Perky, Porky looking through the window. If you can't see it, there's nothing more to say. |
