| DONCASTER ROVERS V PLYMOUTH ARGYLE
THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE ANDY HAINES he has shown 79 yellow cards and sent-off four players in 26 games this season. (we have not won in any of the 10 previous matches when Haines has taken charge.) Assisted by Michael Denton and Wayne Grunnill Fourth Official: Karl Evans Doncaster NewsEx-Rovers loan goalkeeper Remi Matthews has rejoined Plymouth Argyle on loan from Norwich City for the rest of the season. For the second time this season, he signed on an "emergency loan" at the end of December, with no senior professional goalkeepers fit at Argyle, with the arrangement converted to a formal loan once the January transfer window opened. Doncaster Rovers have recalled Tyler Walker and Reece Fielding from their loans. Doncaster Rovers went out of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon at home against Rochdale after conceding a first half goal. Doncaster had four players at the club on loan in the first half of the season. Ferguson has already done deals to bring Rodney Kongolo and Jordan Houghton back to the Keepmoat Stadium for the remainder of the season Rovers resigned loanee Ben Whiteman on a permanent transfer from Championship club Sheffield United and paid an undisclosed six-figure sum to sign the 21-year-old Injured duo Alex Kiwomya and Luke McCullough are set for a return to the first team in February. Both have missed all of the season so far, with Kiwomya having to overcome the effects of Gulliain Barre syndrome, and McCullough suffering from a knee injury and a thigh problem. Both are back in training, but given the length of their absence, Rovers are taking no chances with their recovery and will not be rushing either player back. Argyle NewsNo reports of any new injuries, The good news is Plymouth Argyle left-back Aaron Taylor-Sinclair has resumed training after a hamstring injury. Taylor-Sinclair could make his comeback in an away game against AFC Wimbledon in the Central League on Tuesday, January 16. Argyle sqaud is looking a bit thin as Derek Adams trys to replace Toumani Diagouraga and are in talks to bring in a new striker. We have lost the services of Diagouraga, Nadir Ciftci and Alex Fletcher. We will also be losing Nathan Blissett and defender Jakub Sokolik. Carey Up For Goal of the MonthThe stunning goal at Blackpool is up for Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month. The Irishman's cracking volley is one of three goals that you can vote for as December's best effort. Also nominated are efforts by Shaun Whalley of Shrewsbury and Gillingham's Mark Byrne. Voting is open from 6am on Friday, January 12 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Admin newsFrom Monday, the club’s Academy and the Argyle Community Trust will be based in offices, not at Home Park, but at Plumer House in Crownhill The remaining Argyle staff will not be long in following, with most club operations temporarily transferring to Crownhill by mid-February The exceptions are the Superstore and Ticket Office, which will retain a presence at the ground.

Indeed the squad is looking a bit thin thanks to the reluctant spender, hope the unbeaten run continues but I think it is at risk of ending tomorrow to Donny. THE BRENTMARE CONTINUES |

| What with the staffing operations being split in two, I wonder where the pasoti superfan volunteer will hang out now spreading his unique charm ? Maybe an express courier between the two offices. |

| Jamie Ness returns to the starting lineup after 18 games out.
He is not the answer to any question except who's likely to break down injured between now and january 31st. |

Just f*** off brent Another January where the other 23 teams are strengthening their squads and we seem to be doing nothing but hope for one or two loan signings. how many more obvious signs do brenties need to see before they get it that he will never invest where it actually matters and we will always play catch up as a result. FFS his penny pinching costed us the title last season and promotion the season before that. |

| Not a bad point. No idea of how the game went and don't really care, good to see Edwards on the score sheet-like him as a player and he could be another of Dereks discoveries.
Tounami scored for Fleetwood.
BRENT OUT |

| Sounded like Donnie had the better of the first half, and we had the better of the second. A point is reasonable, although we would need to be turning teams like Doncaster over if anyone is holding onto a slim hope of a playoff run. |

| Game of two halves really. Created very little first half but then sounded by far the better side second half.
Probably the first away game this season where Argyle have had more possession and goal attempts than the opposition. Donny missed an absolute sitter to go 2-0 up, then we go up the other end and equalise. Good point I suppose in the end with a real toughie coming up on Saturday. |

| Decent point and came from behind. Happy. 5 wins, 3 draws from 8 games - can’t argue with that. |
