| PLYMOUTH ARGYLE V BURY FC Saturday’s referee is Trevor Kettle.
This will be Trevor’s 24th match in charge this season. In his previous 23 games, he has issued 88 yellow cards and 4 red ones. Assisted by Simon Knapp and Mark Derrien Fourth Official: Robert Dabbs
Bury make the long trip to Plymouth this weekend bolstered with additional players to the squad. Craig Jones and Neil Danns both made their first starts for the Club since injury and Danny Mayor, Stephen Dawson and Nathan Cameron are back in contention after missing the game on New Years Day. Stephen Dawson made an appearance from the bench but his game time is being carefully managed by the Shakers’ management team after his long-term injury. The Shakers’ ranks have also been bolstered by the addition of loan signings James Hanson, Peter Clarke and Connor Ripley, all of whom have arrived early in the transfer window as Chris Lucketti looks to halt the side’s current form. Forward Hanson, central defender Peter Clarke and goalkeeper Connor Ripley have all arrived until the end of the current season and offer more options to the Bury Manager. Hanson arrives with an almost 1 goal in every 3 games record, Peter Clarke is well known to Bury after previously spending the 2015/2016 season with the Shakers, and Connor Ripley was in last season’s Team of the Year after his 18 clean sheets with Oldham. Plymouth will be aiming to continue their good run of form, which currently stretches to 6 games unbeaten. It wasn’t that long ago that Plymouth found themselves in the relegation zone but a run of good results has seen them shoot up the table. The Bury Manager knows the task ahead, but is also optimistic ahead of the clash with the Pilgrims “The key thing is to get that first 3 points on the board and start to get that momentum and that’s what we’re looking for”. When asked whether he was expecting a tight game, Lucketti thinks it might be “Yeah I would think so. There’s certainly going to be a lot of good players on show. I’m just focusing on us at this moment in time and just making sure that we do the basics right, be ruthless in both boxes because we have been creating chances and not taking them. We’ve been giving minimal chances but the goals we’ve been conceding are avoidable”. Argyle News Plymouth Argyle are reported chasing Wigan midfielder Jack Byrne (by journalist Neil O’Riordan)who loan has ended at Oldham, he could fill the void by Toumani Diagouraga if he left. Other wise Argyle seem to have pick up no new injuries over the Christmas games, It should be the same starting line up as last game |

Lovely day but somewhat brass monkey, crowd might be a bit lower today as no trains between exeter and plimuff. Am watching fleetwood v leicester game which is dull as shit. Akkeron Argo should get something from the game today one would think. Hope Diagouraga get a good Sent off. COYG

Bloody important we pick up 3 points today, given our record without Diogouraga this season.

Two nil up against relegation fodder Bury at HT, I can hear the chants of Viva Aviva resounding loudly around the Demport from Mutant Abbot. Austerity Akkeron Brent will have the perfect excuse not to tap into his Wembley, Liverpool, ten thousand crowd gate money pension pot.

Big big surprise in my opinion that toums wasn't subbed off at 85.....when they are off 99% they are subbed out on successful expiring deals

Whoop whoop to the Akkies!! Adams is doing a great job, but whats the betting that instead of backing Adams by keeping TD at all cost Akkeron man and his Jersey boy mate undermine him by letting him go for the sake of a few quid?

According to Coach Budge, from the Akkeronotti site, Adams confirms TD has played his last game, this kick in the teeth for the argo faithful is mildly accepted by the Akkeronotti happy clappies, which is probably why we get Brent and Hallet at HP.

Oh come on Suffers - we don't have the money, Argyle are too far down the country to attract quality players and we are punching above our weight. You should be lucky we have a team and that Mr Brent saved uzzz. Viva Aviva

Not a lot when the deluded Janner Greenies are happy just to have a team to cheer on no matter what the cost. Why don't you take up golf?
